He's hardly a bargain, his wages would be very high

He would have been on 15k a week at Forest.

I think that a keeper like him will have a choice of clubs on far bigger wages than we will/can afford. He's a great keeper but that's my opinion.

"a good keeper can save you 18 points a season"

So maybe 7 or 8 in what's left of this one, which would mean promotion if we keep it going at the other end, which would mean a bargain IMHO.

He'd be on my wish list anyway, even at the expense of making any other signings this window. We've just got compo from Wolves, what better way to spend it? Doubt he'll be on anywhere near £15000 wherever he goes next.

I for one am more than happy with our current number 1.

It's nice to be having clean sheets again, now if only the same could be said about Cussie's house!!   :woot:

He's Forest's first choice keeper, he's asked to leave so he can go to the Premier League.

Whilst we're at it, Coloccini at Newcastle is available!

Top keeper but he'll be at another Championship club for sure, absolute minimum. Far too good to drop down a level.

Plus we won't be signing anyone til the managerial situation is sorted out.

Wouldn't that involve a premier league club actually wanting him? Apologies if you have inside information on his position, but it doesn't mention that anywhere in the story. He obviously isn't Forest's No 1 choice keeper is he, otherwise he'd be staying and playing at the weekend. And Coloccini isn't a keeper so why is that relevant?

Lee Camp has 26 league appearances this season, from a total of 26 matches so I'd say he is their first choice goalkeeper. You've gotten all defensive because I made a joke and made yourself look stupid. He's leaving because he's out of contract in the summer and wants to try and play at a higher level, so obviously Forest want to let him go now to get a transfer fee for him. I made the Coloccini comment because like Camp, he is a player that we could not in a million years sign at this point in time, but who has also just revealed he is to leave his current team.

And a Premier League team does want Camp. Reading have been chasing him for ages.
