2nd leg is on Thursday, they’ve not got much time to get the two legs in before the Final

Big question do they have to play it before the game at MK or after? Before and there isn’t much time to recover after then MKD lose the advantage of a second leg at home for finishing higher in the table. Or do they move the first leg to Thursday at Crawley and the second leg later at MK so MK still have the second leg at home and advantage? Good luck on sorting that out.

Did make me laugh though, that will mess with Skys schedule which ever way they sort it

From what I've seen from the Crawley fans on FB. There is a suggestion their home game maybe Thursday, with the away game at MK being on  Sunday. We shall see what happens, you'd expect the EFL would want the games played at the first opportunity

As usual I will have to sort a problem out

Have sky got a helicopter

funny thing is brian Clough at the Baseball Ground used to get the fire-brigade to put water on the pitch and I am not joking

Who knows, but this could yet again see us getting cheated. What if they end up doing a one leg game? Probably unlikely but that would royally screw over the winners of Crewe v Rovers. Seems unlikely, but so was the police intervening to make sure the penalties at Charlton were taken in front of the Charlton fans.

Interesting situation. Has to be an advantage to the winner of our tie if the final is still to go ahead on the 1th.

Not really. We'd have 9 days prep, the other side would have 7. Effectively no difference.

They can't control the weather. Neither could we when leeds were calling tinpot because of our frozen pitch.

I know but it’s yet another thing - to slag the T/O , the club , the dates , the EFL what is wrong with our people.

There’s a top game going on tonight involving us tonight and then on Friday that’s what we should be concentrating on .

Just be glad that it was MK Dons who had to play at Crawley and not Rovers. Not our problem. Doesn't really matter anyway when we beat MK Dons in the final.

What ought to happen is for the club to be obliged to play the match at another ground and lose their "home" advantage.

My wife just suggested that.

On the subject of Helicopters

I always knew Crawley was near Gatwick Airport where there must be plenty of helicopters ??  but didn't realise it was that close

6.3 miles · Light traffic · 21 min
London Gatwick Airport→Crawley, West Sussex

on a lighter note :-

Betcha very few people know what "helicopter money" is

"Helicopter money" delivers money directly into the hands of the public instead of quantitative easing which provides it to the bond market.

Just seen a video of the pitch
They are going to have their work cut out to get that pitch dry for tomorrow unless they get in some specialist equipment

They should talk to Charlton. They’re experts in pitch drainage. Said nobody. Ever.
