Charlie Slyvester ............

....... It was announced that he had not missed an home game for 40 years ,that is a amazing achievement. Maybe the club should honour this at the start of the season,  it's not like he's not going to be there !!!

He collects  programmes for home and away matches  too, so he must have a room / loft full. Keep it up Charlie.

Charlie has put more shifts in with the Rovers than Duggie and Copps combined.
It's people like him that make football and your home town special. 25ish years ago at a pre-season friendly at Frickley, Peter Wetzel walked over and shook hands with a little punk bloke and myself, then doing the same with Charlie, for not having missed a  home or away game (FA, League, Auto Glass?, Sheffield County, Yorkshire Electric? Cups and shit pre season games!) for about 15 years.
Every part of the country I've been to following the Rovers, I've always seen Charlie.

He's missed 3 aways since 1988 he told me again in league, cup, pre-season.

One was Hednesford away 2001 Donny won 4-2 as at England vs Finland.
Southport Away early conference tuesday night, i'll not mention that one.
Not sure on other one.
