Yes rovers!!! After we rode out their early storm I was confident we would get a result, even with the injuries. It seemd like with every game theres a bigger test to pass and we keep passing with flying colours. Long may it continue...RTiD

Yes,  in fits and starts. I still think we give it away too cheaply and the added on minutes consisted mainly of defending for our lives and banging it as far away from goal as we could. We need more composure to look after the ball better. Salford were better than us at that but we took our chances so that's that.

We could do worse than offer Andy Butler a short  term contract

Signed for Farsley Celtic, Dutch!

What a win.

Thanks Monkcaster, a pity  :(

So now I think the utility defender in the rumour mill is worth chasing further, even if today's injuries turn out not too bad.

Also think Faulkner has to stay and not go on loan

I think Faulkner will be on the eyeline of several clubs..... hope he wants to stay and progress...

Faulkener looked like he had been playing first team football for a good few years today, un phased by anything and dealt very well with Salfords late onslaught. He will be a big player for us in the future and we need to be tying him down on a long contract as soon as we can.

Get him in on loan then.

A good win today against a very good side. Young Faulkner is one to watch as I though he had a very good game when he came on. Dug in at times when, especially in the first half, we didn’t see much of the ball, keeping our shape well despite the couple of changes in the back four we needed to do.

Onwards and upwards

First time I've seen him properly. For his age I can see what the fuss is about.
