How many can you get?

Good bit of fun. I got 68 in the first 5 minutes then only one more to the end, which was Bury. So a hearty 69/72.

I didn't get Rochdale, Wycombe or Fleetwood...truth is I'd have never got Fleetwood and I didn't realise Rochdale called themselves what it's down as.

I don't even agree with ours as our primary nickname. I also typed in 'Monkey Hangers' for Hartlepool and it gave me it despite the fact that the answer they had down was not that, or even close.

I wasted 5 minutes on trying to get Rovers nickname 'correct'.

'Donny'?   Since when?

66 in the time allowed. There were three that have other nicknames in common use that I tried but it wouldn't accept.

Yeah that's what I thought, I got that one but only after exhausting Vikings, Rovers, Reds etc. Probably just lifter straight from a wikipedia page.

As we're discussing some of the answers, It wouldn't accept Red Devils for Crawley, Tricky Trees for Forest or Rovers (or Vikings which is fair enough!) for us.

I don't understand why Newport's is what it is.

And I don't agree with ours though it's perfectly understandable why they think it is what it is.

I got 61. Bloody hard.

Newport were out of the league for quite some time (were they kicked out?) so they must see that as a period in exile. I didn't get that one myself but I think it's on their badge so fair enough.

I know this gives one of the answers, but IMHO the cat is already out of the bag.

From Wiki:

The club took on the name "Newport A.F.C." and adopted the nickname The Exiles, as a result of the need to play the 1989–90 season home matches at the London Road ground the north Gloucestershire town of Moreton-in-Marsh, around 80 miles north east of Newport.

They also played in Gloucester as there was some bizarre situation when the Welsh FA wouldn't let them play in Wales as they wouldn't join their then new Welsh League.

You have to type it with a 6th finger for that to work

It wasn't spelt incorrectly was it? Their nickname is the Chairboys, not the Choirboys.

Aye you are right. Chairboys not Choirboys .... must have spent a minute trying it every which way as well  :headbang:

I put choirboys for Wycombe and was amazed when it refused to disappear from the square. After spending 10 minutes saying what the ffffffff it finally hit me it was Chairboys!

I got 67 on my second attempt after awarding me'sen another go after being cheated of 20 minutes first go before getting 'Donny' for Rovers' nickname.
