Wot? No thread yet? Is everyone else on their way to Nottingham? As a Rovers fan of too many years to mention I have wanted to believe that Dean would prove to be a good choice for us - but for me the Jury has been out for some time. After the last two games, I'm allowing myself to believe! If we can come out of this one with a point it'll be a great result, but even with injury issues I fancy Rovers to make it 9 out of 9. Notts reporter saying there's some bother at the Rovers end
-
They'll be look out for it! Anyone know if anything is really happening?
-
Lost Player for few minutes and had to resign in, nothing with that site seems to work too well. A less frenetic match this time thank goodness.
-
Ex -Player alert - Ravenhill sent off for Bratford!
Come on Rovers!!!!!!!!!!!!
:scarf: :scarf: :scarf:
-
The Ricky Ravenhill two foot challenge used to make me cringe quite often, good player though. Looks like the old boy doesn't change. Dingles beating SOD as well.
-
Barmby - try changing to other teams commentary and then back to Rovers - usually fixes it for me.
-
Too late equaliser for Florists.
-
Another ex Rover, Byron Webster on the scoresheet for Yeovil (again).
-
byron webster scores for yeovil
one minute late
-
HT 0-0
-
A much better half from what I have heard, much more controlled football. Not exciting but killing off the attacking of Notts County, and having one chance to get a goal I would settle for. Another half of that please, pinching a chance of a goal would be good too.
-
Nice solid half, maybe not too exciting to watch, but getting a point would be great - nicking a last minute winner, priceless! :scarf:
-
Jason Price Goal!! For Prestatyn!
-
Copps getting splinters in his arse again over at Oakwell, I wonder if he`s pissed off with not getting a game?
-
Jason Price Goal!! For Prestatyn!
Unbelievable to think he's on his tenth club since leaving Rovers!
-
Copps getting splinters in his arse again over at Oakwell, I wonder if he`s pissed off with not getting a game?
And the Florets are 3-1 up so he'll probably stay on the bench. What a waste of talent.

yeah but hes at a championship club eh!, cant put a price on that getting chance to sit on the bench at a championship club what a way to end your career

Desperate measures bringing Lee Hughes on.
-
Brown on for Paynter for us. They've taken a centre half off for Hughes! Very attack minded change.

hope that means a few gaps left at the back now for hume and brown to exploit

Bennett just missed a sitter. Free header from 6 yards.

Another Bennett miss!

As it stands Rovers will be 3 points off the top with a game in hand.....SAUNDERS OUT !!!

was a little worried at one nil seemed far to early to be winning to try and hang on again but next time i looked up two nil lets hope we can keep the clean sheet

if that's the case we will have this league sewn up by February lol deano for wales
-
Still some tough games in that run. Bournemouth at home will be tough, as will Pompey and Carlisle away.
-
Too many people counting too many chickens? I hope not.
I expect some response from County

My reaction to that at first was - oh, dear. But we're playing so well, new team bonding - it can only get better! :woot: :silly: :woot:
-
Playing against 10 men, there would be no excuses for losing a lead like this.

Not counting any chickens, but after a tough run of games and a good points haul we should be looking to push on in the next 6 games
-
The key is getting Clingan, being able to pass the ball around in midfield and frustrate other teams will be a great tactic.

I hope so Filo, but I am not looking beyond today yet. Maybe I am still in last season mode :chair:
-
See this out and we'll be three points off Tranmere with a game in hand (although they have a much bigger goal difference).
-
We need to sort our home form out. Our play away from home is near perfect, we're getting the results. If we can find a winning formula at home then we can get promotion.
-
1200 Rovers supporters there. Decent turnout.

I that a County injury after using 3 subs Barmby?

Yeah. Jordan Stewart the left back off injured I think.

Balls
Tranmere have scored!
-
tranmere 1-1 now
-
Missed something there with player on and off all the bl**dy time. How come they're down to 10?
Good to see Clingan on.
-

Jake Cassidy on 80 odd minutes. Preston to nick a winner in injury time for a bit of deja vu?
-
tranmere 1-1 now
That would be good result for us. Preston are challengers as well

Haha ... Deanno making Kyle stay on

Gary Woods has learned one trick from Sulli, the dying swan impression to kill time.

take a leaf from the book of rob jones play though the pain
-
this looks very unusual scores with no home wins in league one ?
-
Great to hear that about Gary Woods barging Lee Hughes out the way 10 yards - oh he just flapped, lol!
-
Fantastic result... well done Rovers
-
3 wins on the bounce! when did that happen last?
-
Yay!! Well done Rovers! :scarf: :scarf:
-
Absolutely brilliant
9 points from these last 3 games is a wonderful return
:scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:
-
Well done to the lads great result.
-
Brilliant result and more more accomplished performance by the sounds of it.
We waited decades to hear "Keegan scores for Rovers". Their commentators were saying Kyle Bennett was our most effective player going forward. We seem to have developed a ruthlessness in converting chances.
Perhaps we are going in One Direction!
-
Top of the table clash in league one, and not ONE match report from SSN.
Well done lads, terrific last three games. :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: :clapping:
-
just think deano only wanted 7 points
well done lads some very hard fought games in which most of us would have took 4/5 points but to get 9 wow well done and with some of our better players on the bench or injured
-
A fantastic start to the season, will the Owners, speculate and allow Deano to Strengthen before the Loan Window shuts and the Busy Christmas schedule commences?

Especially when you consider the league position of those teams and 6 of the points away from home.

another good clean sheet for the defence and gary woods
unless some one goes out on loan or was injured today cant see anyone else coming in to be honest
not that i wouldnt like them to as long as deano approves. i think we can now see that with his team he can do well
-
5th in the table
4 points off the top
2 points off automatic
and a game in hand
but only 13 points off relegation and 19 off the bottom

Yes, Football teams can go down as well as up. We know that all too well! But let's keep looking upwards. If we can be in this position when we've not been playing that well at times, what more can be achieved? I said at the beginning of the thread I've always wanted to believe in Dean. I think my faith may be growing stronger!
-
didnt mean it to sound negative i am fully behind deano and the players, he does seem so know what it takes and needs to do well in this league
yes there is a long way to go, as he said only a week ago i believe he is concentrating on getting to 50 points 1st of all then see where we go from there, well deano we are over half way there now
