Title: Notts County v Rovers
Post by: CottyRover on October 27, 2012, 12:44:55 pm
Wot? No thread yet? Is everyone else on their way to Nottingham? As a Rovers fan of too many years to mention I have wanted to believe that Dean would prove to be a good choice for us - but for me the Jury has been out for some time. After the last two games, I'm allowing myself to believe! If we can come out of this one with a point it'll be a great result, but even with injury issues I fancy Rovers to make it 9 out of 9. Lost Player for  few minutes and had to resign in, nothing with that site seems to work too well. A less frenetic match this time thank goodness.

The Ricky Ravenhill two foot challenge used to make me cringe quite often, good player though. Looks like the old boy doesn't change. Dingles beating SOD as well.

A much better half from what I have heard, much more controlled football. Not exciting but killing off the attacking of Notts County, and having one chance to get a goal I would settle for. Another half of that please, pinching a chance of a goal would be good too.

Nice solid half, maybe not too exciting to watch, but getting a point would be great - nicking a last minute winner, priceless!  :scarf:

And the Florets are 3-1 up so he'll probably stay on the bench. What a waste of talent.

The key is getting Clingan, being able to pass the ball around in midfield and frustrate other teams will be a great tactic.

Brilliant result and more more accomplished performance by the sounds of it.

We waited decades to hear "Keegan scores for Rovers". Their commentators were saying Kyle Bennett was our most effective player going forward. We seem to have developed a ruthlessness in converting chances.

Perhaps we are going in One Direction!

Yes, Football teams can go down as well as up. We know that all too well! But let's keep looking upwards. If we can be in this position when we've not been playing that well at times, what more can be achieved? I said at the beginning of the thread I've always wanted to believe in Dean. I think my faith may be growing stronger!

didnt mean it to sound negative i am fully behind deano and the  players, he does seem so know what it takes and needs to do well in this league

yes there is a long way to go, as he said only a week ago i believe he is concentrating on getting to 50 points 1st of all then see where we go from there, well deano we are over half way there now
