Title: SOD Is God We Are Bigger Than Barcelona
Post by: NorthNorfolkRover on July 22, 2010, 08:17:02 pm
Ok accepting we were in a fix not realising the rules in Devon. To accept we were in a fix and to ditch all  macho amateur sports psychology to get home in terms of a the bigger picture puts the Rovers in a Zen Buddhist sort of way on a different plain even if it meant losing(thrashed!) by the local farmers xi.

PS - Yes I have been drinking

PPS- ie its worth the embarresment.

PPS - The PS explains why I cant spell embaresmenty.

Not a case of not realising the rules, the FA stuck their noses in and changed the rules on the eve of the competition I believe, hence Blackpool using subs but swopping shirts, Shrewsbury's official site complaining about it, and it being one of the reasons cited by Rovers.
It seems to me the fuddy duddys at the FA have turned this tournament into a shambles.

I actually feel sorry for the \"local\" teams that organised it.

(and obviously our lads that travelled)
