Hodens gone with a 4-2-3-1 but could be 4-4-2 or 5-2-1-2 with those players.

I would’ve thought

     Olowu Williams younger

Seaman                     Jackson

          Rowe.   Smith
               Martin

    Griffith’s.     Odubeko

Clayton was supposed to be this rock of experience in the midfield, and so he warms his bum on the bench. I can do that and watch a game of football, when is he going to earn his wages?

He hasn’t played for a year
We started him on Tuesday and it showed he isn’t fit yet, he was obviously not gonna start today

We started him on Tuesday and it showed he isn’t fit yet, he was obviously not gonna start today
And in the interviews about him they were amazed " at how fit he was, keeping logs of his running on his treadmill etc. Utter garbage. Buying in players who can't play shows exactly where we are, becoming a care home for the unfit and a babysitting area for those who can't cope with men's football.

Exactly
We’ve signed plenty of players who looked miles off it in their first few games
Turned out to be very good

out of interest have we all forgotten we have never beaten this lot - if Sundies hadn't lost at home to Mansfield in the F A Cup then we would have got another shot at finally beating them .

It makes you wonder if some of us will still be alive when  we next play them in the league match (sobering thought).

Outstanding half of football. Sunderland started strongest but we wrestled control back from them and we could have been 4 up. Excellent man for man that half. The movement, tracking back, picking up second balls, chasing down - superb.

We have been disciplined and unbelievably good.

The crowd is on Sunderland's back, and they're at each other.

Copps is a wonderful co-commentator. His reading of the game and insight is brilliant.

A word on the ref. He has been pretty good. Missed a clear foul on Reo when he had his shirt pulled after he'd turned a defender, and Sunderland have these subtle pushes when Rovers players are in the air, just nudging them off their headers, down to a fine art.

10 minutes of normal time left.

This is agony. Think I'll have a packet of M&Ms.

I'm at Lloyd bridges in Airplane level. M&Ms insufficient for me.

Has there ever been a bigger turnaround from the debut performance of the keeper to this one? He's been superb today,

Before this game, did anyone forecast this result?

Seems like we were under the cosh for much of that half - just proves how important it is to take chances.

Huge win, massive boost.

cant believe that  they scored in the 14th minute of 17 minutes injury time you don't realise how significant that Bolton goal will be (yes we might forgive Bolton for their antics if we stay up)

i presumed WIMBLEDON HAD WON

yes Wimbledon  (same thing only different) and we got a double cream result

belatedly found out Oxford not only came from behind but got a late winner against Portsmouth

which means Portsmouth season is now totally over - and they have $od all to  play for .. so 3 more points for the taking at a place we do well at.
