It's them old lucky legs
You old misogynistic t**t.
-
Hey Steve I can see you posted on the AR thread there's a few of us that can't
-
I reckon the mods have derailed the thread because we're all drooling over Angela's legs, which is detracting from the political substance of the subject.
I still reckon she flashed Boris though.
-
Hey Steve I can see you posted on the AR thread there's a few of us that can't
Yes, I posted it, Syd, but nothing happened. Is this the start of Putin's cyber attacks?
-
I'll just point out that most of those getting stuck into AR are the ones that pronounced Starmer guilty of beergate before the fact and and that johson was innocent of partygate, just saying like.
-

I can't recall one person on here saying that Johnson was innocent of Partygate.

Ha,ha,ha,ha
I can't express enough ha,ha without filling up all the pages on the off topic on that one.
Must be an age thing SS,like your band of friends keep hilariously joking about.

Show me the evidence, and I'll hold my hand up, as I always do.
As regards having lots of friends, especially in the South Stand, that's what happens when you're a good guy.
-
You're maybe right Steve, on the 'Talk your way out of this one johnson' thread around 250 pages about partygate I cannot see you saying johnson is innocent, but I cannot see any criticism of him from you either.
There is the usual flannelling of course ............
''Thing is, everyone in their right mind knows that this partying inquest has blown over any form of reasonable proportion simply for political reasons, and it has been amplified for the simple reason that the opposition has absolutely nothing going for it and can only raise its own popularity by lowering the oppositions.
Put it this way, how many of you Labour lot would have condemned a Labour government so vehemently for doing the same thing?''

You've not quoted a name. You could have made that up yourself.

Just accept that it is genuine, I don't deliberately mislead Steve unless it is just a bit of banter then of course I may give someone a poke

SS, it says much about Syd that he spent around two hours scanning 250 pages of a thread looking for something to prove your statement wrong.
If he has found something he should do what he asked me to do when accusing me of deleting a post, SHOW THE POST AS IT APPEARED ON THIS FORUM.
Just show it as a quote.
If he can do that we can see that it isn’t something else that he has made up.

With word search it takes a couple of minutes or less Steve, it's not difficult.

Just show the post Syd, as it appears on the forum.

There's some rather embarrassing, misogynistic posting going on here

The likes were because of Syd derailing yet another thread, Tommy.
As regards Angela's legs, she's admitted herself that it used to put Boris off. It's all just light-hearted banter.

If you want to see real misogyny, Syd, go on the football forum and see some of the comments against women's football, and how I always defend the women's game vehemently.
-
I don't actually Steve but nice deflection, are you going to post proof?
Also if you are volunteering to be a shadow mod you're going to be a lot busier that you usually are as it means you'll have to 'see' all the posts you appear to conveniently miss.
-
Hey up Syd you been sorting the Riots in ‘Alice’ on behalf of Albinese last week?

Glad you've bought a telly spraty it will help keep you off the streets yourself

Well, it takes all kinds.

So you are a champion of women on one thread but post rubbish about them on another and it's my fault, great work Steve.
-
Syd, you need to put your post outside the blue box. You really do get worse.
By the way, we beat Wrexham tonight; not that you're interested.

Steve maybe you should take responsibility for your own posts and check what you write the next morning too.

Well the Police have enough evidence to interview Rayner if they didn’t they would have told the Tory’s where to get off, clearly Andy Burnham and his Labour Bros had been putting pressure on the GMP not to get involved but when N0 10 rings You Jump to it!

Really? Both things the Tories/Guido Fawkes are alledging Rayner committed are time limited. Even if she did do whatever it is she is alledged she can't be prosecuted for them.
You reckon that's a good use of police time and money? If only the Daily Mail whould put every crime committed in the UK every day then they might get investigated.
-
And on the subject of 'evidence' - (ie something you have seen in the papers) here's the Daily Mail apology that it was 'mistaken' in claiming & printing something about the Clapham chemical attacker that was not true.

They don't care if it's time limited it's that it happened. Given the comments she made about Boris eating sandwiches at the wrong time with wrong people she really has to be squeaky clean.

Didn't you call for Starmer to be investigated because he had a beer, pud?

Hey up Glynn, I doubt very much that GMP had any interest in looking into the affairs of an opposition MP ,regarding to such trivial matters as Dodging Capital gains Tax. Clearly some one at Downing Street has been doing some Sleuthing and GMP will have been presented with a dossier of evidence which has caused them to get involved, Rayner should have kept her ‘Estate Girl’ gob shut instead of calling names, believe me there will be enough evidence to charge an interview will merely be a formality!

Good grief Wilts what has that got to do with Raynergate?

This is the sort of decent Tory MP that the party used to be full of.
https://x.com/richardhorton1/status/1780130294927970414
Yes, of course Rayner will have to resign if she's found to have broken the law. But the thought of her being hounded by a billionaire Tory who is a resident of Belize so he pays f**k all tax, and who has a history of chumming up to Russian kleptocrats is, frankly, disgusting.
-
It isn’t pretty, I agree bst.
However I don’t think it is out of the realms of reality for any politician to do similar if it makes life difficult for a member of another Party

How about (this is a repost) calling for Boris to go when he was under police investigation (note not convicted or changed at the time just under investigation) but now not falling on her sword when she is??? Hypocritical doesn’t cover it.

This is the problem Raynor is being compared to Johnson a professional liar whom only fools would trust.
-
No, the problem is she’s set a moral bar by calling for someone only under investigation to go. Who it is doesn’t matter, the principle has been set by her. Not going when she is in the same position shows her true character
-
She's a self-righteous phoney who only appeals to other self-righteous phonies.

When did she apologise for being a hypocrite?

Maybe you should put up the reasons and it can be trawled through again, the two people cannot be compared the circumstances the dates not their positions at the time.

It's not a characteristic that would get my vote.

So it seems to be accepted by some people, to lie when you are not a politician but still ok to continue the lie when you are a politician.
If it turns out that she registered her kids at the wrong address by accident then I would think that is a bit strange too.

It's fair to be critical of her given she can't practice what she preaches. It opens up questions about how you can trust what she says. When you've set yourself out as something you have to be that person and I'd question whether she is!

True to a point pud, the misogyny by some is not required. Many of whom wouldn't know an apology or retraction from a bar of soap.

I wander how long Back Stabber will hold out before he throws Rayner under a Boris bus?
-
Raynors former chief aide now claims she was not living at the house she sold.
He has allegedly given a statement to GMP which contradicts what she has said.

''Starmer dismisses Tory attack on Rayner as 'billionaire PM smearing working-class woman'
Starmer says the Tories have been smearing a working-class woman''
And
''James Daly, the deputy chair of the Conservative party, wrote to Greater Manchester police asking them to investigate Angela Rayner and, when the force initially declined to look into it, he successfully persuaded them to think again.
But in interviews Daly has refused to say what he thinks Rayner did wrong. He did this yesterday on Politics Live, and again today on Sky News''

Why should he?

''A supposedly grassroots ‘tax protest’ against Labour party Deputy Leader Angela Rayner, which hit the headlines on Wednesday, was organised and conducted by Conservative party politicians, one of the organisers has admitted to Byline Times''

Come on Syd, don’t pretend to be surprised that things like this happen.

Depressingly familiar reporting by the BBC.
That info about the MP calling a retired fund manager a 3:15 to demand £5k to pay off "bad people" was all over the media yesterday.
Until they changed the content this morning, that BBC page was just saying the MP was accused of misusing party funds.
That's what happens when you stuff senior BBC management full of ex Tory party officials and donors. They bend over backwards to give the Tories the least damaging coverage possible.

He has been suspended by the Tories, and what are Labour doing!

Starmer is a lawyer, he’ll have cross examined Raynor and come to the conclusion that there is no case to answer, I think Labour ate enjoying this when for when it eventually comes out that the Tory MP has been wasting Police time
-

Starmer is a very poor ‘Woke’ finger wagging Nanny state Buffoon, Rayner will have denied every thing and told him he was bullying her!
He will have kacked his pants and done nothing!
The CCof GMP is a very firm but fair man if there is no case to answer that will be that, no chance of another wasted investigation into ‘Wasting PoliceTime” if there is some evidence to support a conviction there will be a conviction.

Hi Gammon AI. Could you write me a really bad Daily Heil comment piece please and don't forget to put Woke in quotation marks.

waiting to see if there's any case to actually answer as I understand, following the first time where it was said there wasn't. Slightly different to a bloke with previous for male prostitutes and drug involvement having action taken after 3month after party office informed.

Funniest comment on Bad People Gate is Dominic Cummings saying how Westminster is full of incompetent sociopaths.
That's of course the sociopathically incompetent Dominic Cummings who used to run Westminster.

Are you really a middle school teacher ?

Just dawned on me, d'oh.
The reason the Tory party deputy chair has been pushing the police now of all times to open the investigation into Rayner.
They must have known that they couldn't keep a lid on Bad People Gate for much longer.
And in other news, the husband of Nicola Sturgeon has been charged with embezzlement of SNP funds.
-
If after GMP have concluded their investigation and the ginger one has nothing to answer for then all well and good.
I'm just trying to visualise the meltdown on here from certain sources if the investigation coughed up anything positive, the backtracking would be illuminating!
-
If after GMP have concluded their investigation and the ginger one has nothing to answer for then all well and good.
You obviously have a very neutral stance on this with the 'ginger one'.
That's pleasing to see.

Do you have a point? or is it just your usual post a load of guff, i don't think i've ever seen a post of any sort of relevance from you.
Are you a bit special?

Oh dear!
No fewer than four Conservative MPs have declined to disclose whether they paid capital gains tax on profits made from the sale of their own taxpayer-funded second homes.
A Mirror investigation has revealed that David Tredinnick, Eleanor Laing, Shailesh Vara and Maria Miller raked in a combined £5.4 million between them from flogging houses funded by the public.
They have all declined to comment on whether they paid any tax on the profits they made

All 5 of them should regardless of party. They must follow the law. Also if they've followed the law and found loopholes let the public know so they can judge the morality of it.
-
Mindst you, you have to ask how big and where were these house to rake in £5.4m obviously not some Council estate in Manchester

Remind me though Sproty Rayner is being nvestigated over how much?

It's a shame to have to keep saying it but everyone's aware of the consistent undercurrent of sleaze and corruption in our elected membership, across all political parties.
If these people spent as much time trying to produce legislation to help and support the betterment of society that they do in fiddling the system and feathering their nests for the present and when they are eventually kicked out, we may just succeed as a nation.
If any politicians have questions to answer in their financial arrangements they should be taken to task with the toughest possible censures delivered to them.
Its been going on far too long and needs eradicating, these people are given far to much capability to defraud the system and require much stronger regulation, if they don't agree with this then they should be forced out and replaced by a generation of people who have professional and technical competencies to take us forward.
We don't want or need people who's first thought is always how they can advance themselves on the public purse before even thinking about the electorate.

I'll repeat. The irony of the Rayner case is that it has come back into the limelight because of a book written by a Tory billionaire whose companies are registered in Belize so that he doesn't pay UK tax.
-
Ironic or not, it still doesn't absolve any MP in the pay of the public purse from being investigated if they have questions that need clarifying.
Does anyone know why Labour when in power from 1997 to 2010 did not legislate to change the non-dom status?
