Just found out about this.

Was wondering why the upgrade wouldn't work on my phone. Anyone have any idea about how I can get back to iOS 4.2.1 (the last iOS compatible with the 3G model)?

:laugh: nice and helpful, Filo :P I'll probably end up taking it to the Apple store, but I don't really want to go all the way to Birmingham until I've tried everything
