All the best Hoola. Just incase people don't know if anybody is suffering with Cancer in the Doncaster area, and are struggling for transport for treatment or just want to go on transport where everyone is in the same boat. There is a local charity called Firefly, amazing person who runs it, also suffers with cancer herself. She has 3 buses taking patients & families to western park hospital. I have raised about £5000 for her so far and will continue to do so through the Doncaster business owners. Anybody who needs any info on it and wants to use their services please drop me a PM and i will point you in the right direction.

Many, many thanks Donnyplant, it's people like you doing such things which makes the world such a good place.

I know from his posts that Hoola is OK, but there are very many out there without the means to get to and from hospital appointments.

Even though you have a much greater Welfare system than we do in the States, the present economic climate  looks like reducing much of that aid.  Keep up the good work my friend.

Here is an update on my condition.    I have just got back from seeing my Doctor after my second biopsy.  I am told that I do not have a tumour that has invaded the baladder wall as was first thought. This means I will NOT need to have surgery as on the initial biopsy they took out the tumour.

I have instead to have a six week course of injections into my bladder of BCG ( I know not what) once a week, and then a booster after 6 weeks of nothing.  What a weight to have lifted from my shoulders.
Many, many thanks for all your kind wishes and prayers and may we now put all of our effort into getting Hoola up and running.

Once again thank you to my Rovers family, you don't know what it has meant over the last few weeks.

You lucky sod, newyankee!  BCG is Big Cock Growth hormone.  You'll be pole vaulting into the Keepmoat for free when your trip is rearranged!  Mention it to your specialist next time you are there..... ;)

(glad its good news, pal)

You just don't know how lucky I feel Rob, it's like being reborn, and as they say size isn't everything.
