\"The likes of Doncaster\"

From saintsweb.co.uk:

Confuses me as to why people think we will smash Pompey away. If our players are finding it tough to play away at the likes of Doncaster then I hate to think how they will cope at Fratton.

Awful Saints, ****ing awful.

we should be beating teams like Doncaster

but we really do need to be beating teams like Donny

Just thought it was funny

Onwards and upwards! :rtid:

Tossers they need to remember where they were last season. Another team that can't give merit where it's due .
It's easier for them to stomach the disappointment if they can delude themselves that it was a 'one-off' ****ing awful display..............poor lambs.

Lets face it when the team at the top of the table cannot beat the team at the bottom - they, the team at the top, do have worries - but do I not give a toss, let them cry in their southern shandies

Ah tell thi what we are - we're just a pub team havin' a laugh! and it properly felt like that again today. Most fun I've had at a home game in I can't remember how long.

Top display from the lads and the stands held up their end of the bargain towards the end of it too. This may be when it finally clicks.

Shall I book the coaches to London now to beat the rush? :woot:

No way were Southampton a bad team, but Rovers were genuinely better today. Of all the teams who I've seen this year only Leeds, Hull, West Ham were better than Southampton. I guess that Rovers don't deserve to be bottom just like Southampton don't deserve to be top?

Leeds looked better because we were a shambles. Hull were pretty good but we were better in 2nd half same applies to West Ham. Southampton were a good side cut down to size by a hard working 100% team display.

I like the comment about us being \"a poor team with some excellent loan players\"!

I just love the term \"the likes of Doncaster\".

We are the fly in the ointment, the party poopers.

Not a big deal. If we were top of league and got turned over by Coventry or Watford we'd be saying the same.

I think it's about time we thought about changing our name to the 'likes of Doncaster,' it would make it far easier for these buffoons who still will not give us the credit we deserve despite playing for the fourth season in a row in the championship.

In the end, they can call us what they want, we know who we are.
I agree with others though, it still makes my blood boil when you hear people come out with this sentence.
