Just had a read of the fa rules, it states:

From the FIFA amended rules (this is regarding tournament play,It may differ for league play)

13. Inclement Weather – In the event of inclement weather, the Tournament Committee is responsible
for determining if games will be played. Once a game is started the decision to continue play rests
with the referee. Games shall be considered complete if one half of the game has been played - the
score at the time of stoppage of play will be the final score. If one half has not elapsed and the
game is stopped the game may be rescheduled if it affects the outcome of the tournament and if
weather permits.

Since we played 50 mins it should stand.... should it not??

I'm afraid precedent is not on our side. Last season the Wycombe v Bristol Rovers game was called off after 60-odd minutes with Bristol Rovers leading 3-1. Rovers claimed that either the result should stand or that only the remaining time should be replayed. The Football League decided that the game should be replayed in full.

Think the get out of jail card for the FA there is Tournament - does this apply to league, hope so.

Its possible for a committee to decide that the result stands, though this has only rarely happened, the most recent example being when the Blades were reduced to 6 against West Brom. I guess if there's only 5 mins left there could be reason enough, but even though its possible, it ain't gonna happen.
