Title: Free 5 ticket scheme
Post by: rossworth rover on January 03, 2013, 05:22:59 pm
Just a quick question to anyone who may be able to help. I've been to the ticket office with my season ticket today to collect my 5 free tickets for the Colchester game. However I forgot to ask the ticket staff if this scheme was available to child season tickets? If so can you get adult tickets with the child season ticket?

Thanks

I got my 5 free for the MK Dons game.

Do i keep them for the rearranged game or do i need to change them for new tickets?

If it says they're for the MK match then I'd gather it's the same situation as if you'd actually bought the tickets. Not as if we're going to sell out, is it?

Does anyone know if you can claim your 5 free tickets on the day of the match? Wont be able to get to the KM before Saturday.

Cheers

I've not heard otherwise but you're best off turning up as early as you can.

Who's said it's a sell out? what game are you even referring to?

No, the club (I expect) aren't stupid enough to allow the 5 tickets thing to be used on a possible sell out and since there's only really the United match until near the end of the season that's likely to be close to that (as you saw, they didn't allow this to be used there) then it only applies to that kind of fixture - with MK being likely to be on a Tuesday, you'll be fine for POTD.

With the Season Ticket Newsletter (for S/T Holders) every season ticket holder can claim 5 free (like for like) tickets to a single match.

Do you need the newsletter?

Thank you - I don't have a ST this season so was unaware of this offer.  5 tickets for one game sounds great.  My dad has a ST but he's got the older concession, so that wouldn't work for me.

Still, I was planning on phoning up and paying my 20 quid anyway for this saturday and will gladly do so.

Im not sure, if you havent claimed your newsletter yet you should be fine, however I can confirm that you can claim your tickets on a match day, just dont leave it until the last minute.

You do not need the Newsletter - but take your ST Book with Voucher M in it

I walked in T-O and asked for my 5 Voucher M Tickets (please of course) and was out within 2 minutes

It's voucher M in your season ticket if i remember right. Simply take your st to the ticket office to claim your tickets, simples. Any home league game now, the only exclusions were Sheff Utd & Scunny games.

I rang ticket office today and asked same question and you can use your voucher on a match day, but obviously the sooner you get there, the better chance of getting (up to) 5 tickets next to each other in your choice of stand.

There is a game earmarked for this, I can't remember which one but when I get chance I'll ask.

Just to clarify. If this was the case with your tickets then it was a mistake, all tickets will be marked complimentary BUT will also be marked with the relevant grouping. So if you use the young persons season ticket then the 5 tickets should be marked the same.
