In my opinion, in league two and the conference.
LEAGUE 2
Defenders
Nyron Nosworthy 35/Dagenham/ played most of career in the top two divisions, could be a stop gap signing.
Ryan Taffazoli 24/Mansfield, very promising centre back who has contributed to a mean Mansfield defence.
Malvind Benning 21/Left back, very good full back.
Alan Sheehan 29, Notts county/Old head, experienced left back who can play anywhere left side, played championship with Leeds, as we know to our cost a few times free kick expert, not the quickest but a good footballer.
Yann Songo'o 23/Free agent, played for quite a few US teams, joined Blackburn, didn't play for the first team, spent time on loan with Ross county on the way to promotion to the Scottish premier league.
Stephen Kelly 32 Right back/still a free agent Rep of Ireland international, ex Stoke, Fulham and reading among others, very good full back.
Midfielders
Josh Windass 21/Attacking midfielder, scored quite a few goals this season for Accrington, huge potential.
Piero Mingoia/Winger started off with Watford made some appearances for them in the championship, small tricky winger who can cross a ball.
Lawson D'Ath/22/Attacking midfield/Ex Reading youth system product, didn't make many appearances due to the quality players in front of him, physical presence and capable of scoring a few goals.
Dean Cox/28/Always admired this winger, very good crosser of a ball, and technically very good, and scores a goal or two.
Adam Hammill 27/ Free agent, winger, started at Liverpool worked his way through a fair number of clubs, another can cross a ball, a threat on goal and very skilful.
Ryan Donaldson 24/Ex Aston villa, came to prominence in Cambridge's cup run, a set piece specialist, tricky and quick winger.
Joel Grant 29/winger ex crewe and Yeovil, always liked this fella, can be inconsistent but on his game very hard to stop.
Strikers
Harry Cornick 20/striker Yeovil, A very promising young forward, worth keeping an eye on.
Jay Simpson 27/Leyton Orient, started at Arsenal, played a fair few teams Hull among them, went abroad to play, came back to Orient on a free transfer 15 appearances 11 goals.
Charlie Wyke 22/ Started at Middlesbrough, joined Exeter in the summer, a striker worth looking at.
CONFERENCE
Jordan Burrow 23/striker 6ft 1, 18 appearances for a struggling Halifax side this season 11 goals.
Omar Bogle 23/Grimsby 18 appearances 10 goals this season, joined from Solihull Moors where he was very prolific, ex Celtic and Birmingham, career 137 appearances 75 goals.
Jack Munns 21/Attacking midfield/winger, has made 18 appearances scoring 5 goals this season.
Billy Waters 21/Attacking midfield 5ft 9in, made 16 appearances scored 5 goals this season, ex Crewe.
Jack Barthram 22/right back, Started at Tottenham, then joined Swindon, steady right back with a decent cross going forward.
Jordan Cranston 21/Left back/Centre half Gateshead, ex Wolves, very promising left back who can play centre half, who will be snapped up by a bigger club.
Dan Harding 31/Left back, played most of his career in the championship, with Millwall, Forest, Southampton, joined Eastleigh in the summer, good defender.

We wouldn't even give Lawson D'ath a trial under Dickov & Co.

We have to go for loanees at the moment Sammy, as Mickey Mallon at Shrewsbury says, free agents havn't played for up to 7 months, they are not fit and may take some time to get fit. By then it could be too late. We need people to come in straight away, hit the road running and do a job

If we're speculating, Jack O'Connell is not getting a look in at Brentford and was a stand-out defender on loan for Rochdale last season and the year before.
Ipswich youngster Josh Yorwerth, who I think once had a trial with us, has shored up the Crawley defence while on loan and looks capable of holding his own at a higher level.

I see another free agent Anthony Gerrard has joined Zak Whitbread at Shrewsbury .
Not a bad CB pairing in this league.

Were you fed a diet of crab apples when you were a kid Acko?
I can't think of any other reason why, or how, anybody could be so consistently, and persistently, jaundiced, miserable and negative as you. There's gotta be a reason for it somewhere....

Nyron Nosworthy.
I hate bigging up Blades fans, but one of them once wrote a gem of a critique of him. Said he was the only professional footballer who was slower than glacial erosion.
He might make Butler and McCullough feel better about their own pace inadequacies but...errr...NO.
