Does anyone know the reason why photographs of JR have recently been removed from the ground, which also includes the boardroom?

No photos of JR have been removed from anywhere as far as I know. Why do you think any have? If you believe that some have, please let us know which ones in particular so we can double check for you.

I don't know.
That was the question I was asking.

But as nobody seems to think they have perhaps we should leave it there.
The thread was about a man losing his job and that's the most important issue.

Erm, no it wasn't the question you originally asked. You asked why they have been removed, not if any have been removed. A definite statement about a definite action, not an enquiry whether that action has taken place.

Glyn, you're quite right.
I misread what you said.
Either way it doesn't get Mr Uttley his job back.

Last December I went on the stadium tour and as far as I remember there were plenty of JR photos and memorabilia in the board room

It's post like Pauls above that really annoy me..The fact that he felt the need to stop doing that because of idiots who have got nothing better to do than snipe at people who are prepared to give there time and effort while not prepared to do anything themselves is a negative of social media..For the record mate I thought your commentary's were brilliant and I prefer to hear the game from a fans point of view..

Or answer why you brought up the Boardroom in particular.

Because that's where I heard the photos had been removed from.
Perhaps now you can 'double check' as previously promised and let us all know if it is the case or not.
As I said before the thread is about a long serving, hardworking employee losing his job.
Have you any comment to make about that?

No photos have been removed from the Boardroom. Seems your 'source' doesn't know as much as you think he does. I'm sure you'd agree that if anyone is leaking incorrect and damaging information from the club it should be stopped?

I must say that I think Paul Mayfield's  ( Retford Rovers 's ) post is very significant . I know of nobody who have given such unselfish support to Rovers and fellow fans for the last thirty years . The fact that he felt driven away by comments on here should ring alarm bells to everyone but especially  to those who created the forum as essentially a vehicle of SUPPORT to our club .

I am insignificant compared to Paul though I have unselfsishly and positively supported Roves for 50 years . I used to draw energy and even enjoyment from following and posting on this forum. I stopped posting weeks ago because I was tired of such negativism against the Board; PD;  young players like Hubby and Wakefield even against fellow supporters who were supportive  . That a fellow supporter like Paul who is undoubtedly an ideal  supporter  should feel as he does only serves to convince me that the forum no longer serves the club  and it's fan base as it set out to do. Are the anti VSC chants aimed at the Co operative or at the forum I wonder. I hope you survive as a supportive forum of fans long term but I'm afraid I shall no longer be around. You have snuffed out another positive flame of support. .

I thought you was good if I'm honest.  When I was working in Florida I wanted to hear commentary from a fans point of view and that's what I got.  I much preferred shouts of 'what's he doing there' to what we get from some commentators.

There is only Glen who is any good from the current crop, the rest are dire. They try to be proffesional and they are just not up to it. At least Paul was just himself, I much preferred listening to this latest crop of Tyler and Gray wannabe's.

can we all agree to leave this thread alone until we find out any more info officially? From what I've gathered no decision has been made either way yet officially.
