Ticket sought for crewe away
« on May 02, 2024, 02:59:13 pm by normal rules »
Probably one of my more pointless threads but if you don’t ask and all that.
Just one ticket sought if anyone has one and can’t make. Me and my brother have tickets. Seeking one for my lad who is a London based exile. Can collect in Donny area anytime or alternatively pick up in crewe with cash of course.
And I’ll happily pay a little over the odds so that a pint or two can be enjoyed in return for your consideration.

One for me too.

My son has got one but I'll be driving him to Crewe and would love to join him rather than wait in a pub in Crewe.

I just wonder how many we could have sold if numbers were unlimited.
Me and Grandson missed out too. Despite having 68 points between us.

I doubt it, I think it’s already on sale to home supporters.

I live in Ireland. If any of you want to try home end, PM me and I could share my address if it's any use. Could pretend your a member of the Motley Crewe in exile over here? Could be worth a try?

I've created an account with Crewe but it doesn't let new account holders buy tickets

I'd have had three at least.

Remember my dad in the home end for Mansfield away in our league winning season, he jumped up like a lunatic when blundell scored the 2nd and I thought he was gonna get his throat cut!

Just had a look on the Crewe ticket site and they have sold out one side behind the goal but the other one behind the goal has loads leftover and the main stand looks about 3/4 sold.

Seems like they aren't bothered

Amazing that people call our club tinpot over tickets but we could easy sell another 500 at Crewe and they would rather have a half empty stadium

Turn up on the day. They won’t turn away cash paying customers.

I'm gutted I didn't get a ticket but have no problem with Crewe not giving us anymore, they did give us a fair amount and they use behind both goals for home fans and have done for years.

Pick a hotel or B&B address in the area, Middlewich or Nantwich and say you earn there for the week end and fancied a game as a neutral. That might work, more so if you have ID that doesn’t have a DN postcode. Alternatively if you are dressed smart ask a Crewe fan queuing for a ticket if he would buy an extra one. I’m sure one would do that if you look respectable. I would if the roles were reversed.

normally have stewards before the turnstile asking to see tickets I think

Like been said pick a hotel and say your in area or even a ground hopper before you go to watch Bolton/barnsley game tomorrow lol

Its very last minute and I'm certainly not dressed for it but I'm thinking of trying my luck at getting in the Crewe end. I'm actually at work today and I've found myself in Middlewich, just 4 mins away from Jct 18 of M6. I reckon I could just about get away with going missing for 3 hrs.
I know it's a long shot but there's £20 in it for anyone who can pick me up and then drop me off again after the game, postcode CW10 0QJ. Alternatively I'm looking at getting a taxi.

Update. Got in literally no questions asked! Didn't even ask my name or where I'm from, in fact put me down as Andy Davies whoever he is!
Sat in the big stand opposite our support who sounded majestic, particularly in the second half! Can't wait for Friday night now!
