Great cause.
Absolutely diabolical kit.
-
??
-
Quite like it. It's different and distinctive. Worth a watch to Inside Rovers to get the lowdown on the young lad who designed it.
-
I quite like it.
It's very different.
-
Horrible kit.
-
Horrendous
-
Worst kit I’ve ever seen
-
I think its a belter. Has a retro feel to it
-
It's a f**king monstrosity hahahahaha
-
It's an absolutely crackers kit.
Apparently created by an 11 year old.
But still looks better than the current home and away kits!

80's cycling jersey.

Is that a Mondrian?
-
Anyone know the shorts colour.?
-
Worst kit I’ve ever seen
Worse than this ?
-
Or this ?
The one on the right has "you'll never Pork alone" on the back AND the number on the shirt is made up of Sausage silhouettes
Google Bedale Football Sausage shirts or look here

Grandad Len designed shirt and JR did the shorts.

The irony of that shirt being designed to promoted CALM.
I mean, I have seen worse kits but yes, that sure is something. And I agree it looks like a Pro Cycling jersey.
-
St-st-st-studio line.
-
what's the problem??,it's a 3rd kit designed to stand out from the crowd and promote a very worthwhile charity..It will probably be only used for one or two games and be auctioned off like the previous charity shirts were..Well done to the lad..
-
In some respects, the unusual design, whether people like it or not - will attract attention and therefore help support the cause.
-
Was the designer smoking something at the time?
-
Was the designer smoking something at the time?
It was designed by a kid, for a charity.. have a think about that, eh.?
-
It's a bit like the one from the 90s that was sponsored by the star

I have, and it's still horrible. Still I suppose everyone has to start somewhere.

Then It looks like your the one been smoking something. It's a competition for a worthy charity,If anything,if you really think critism is necessary, which I don't,it should be for those whose chose the winner? Not the winning designer.Who's only 11.NO?

To be fair, he’s not the first to criticise the shirt - look at some of the comments towards the start of the thread.

Don't have a go at Bedale! We don't have 2 sausages to rub together!

To be fair Nick, the majority of posts at the start of the thread criticised the shirt, not the designer of it.
-
I saw it as a compliment. There's been more than one genius creation when someone has smoked something.
For example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fjwWjx7Cw8I alegedly, anyway.
-
Good cause but a disgusting shirt, not seen many shirts as bad as that.
-
It’s a shirt for one game for a charity designed by an 11 year old , think about it
-
Hope the young lad doesn't look on this forum. It'd have broke my heart at that age to win the competition to then see everyone laying into it.
Bit of realisation fellas. Young lad is only 11. Could be your son/grandsons hard work.
For the record, I like it.
-
You would never have a colour clash with the opposition.🙂

Or maybe you'd clash with all of them.

If I was the kid reading the forum, I'm not sure I'd give two hoots what a few miserable old (or miserable young!) buggers writing on a Rovers forum thought about my efforts. To paraphrase Gareth Keenan, "he's designed a football shirt, what have you ever done?"
-
Thing is,11 years old are often impressionable, thats why there are many laws protecting children until 18.Just hope he does'nt need support from CALM after seeing some of the comments on here.
-

My point was,its the person whose chose the winner, who is responsible for that design being used as our third kit,Not the 11yr old designer.
-
Its great that we can raise awareness with CALM.
Imagine how cool it is for the young lad that designed it.
Great advert for the club as usual on the spot with community affairs.
-
Look all I said was I didn't like it and it looked weird.
Well done to the lad, as said I haven't designed any sports shirts for anyone.
I thought this was a forum for airing your views but it seems to me that 90% of the posters are far too touchy and have had a sense of humour bypass.
-
I love it personally, will be purchasing it.
-
I don’t think anyone is criticising the young lad who designed it but more the person who thought that this was the best one out of the lot.

I dread to think what the other, worse ones, looked like.

Correct.

No, you suggested the designer was smoking something..
There’s plenty of room for banter and humour on the forum, but ask yourself, would the 11 year old designer get the bantz.??

It's called humour, give it a try. Why don't you climb down from your big hill on the moral high ground and chill out and maybe have a smoke of something? :)
-
i`m sure it will grow on you and plenty will buy it.

Probably best if we all play nicely. :)
