Biggins, who I have absolutely slated this year. He had been awful for a while, what has changed? Is it the position he’s playing, is it better players around him?
Fair play it takes some metal to pull yourself back from that sort of form, to someone who is getting close to being a big miss if he’s not in the team.
I was wrong, very wrong calling you Christopher Biggins.

You’re not the only one - I said same!
Adds to a list of players I didn’t rate - including Eric Cantona

Molyneoux, Biggins, Maxwell, Hurst, Olowu (and probably Miller if he wasn't injured) are all looking better because they've got better players around them. It was a too high expectation last season that they'd suddenly lead to team forward as the next generation. While all talented, there were too many mistakes and not enough character in team.

The simple fact that Ironside and Adelakun are so strong at bringing the ball down is bringing the other lads into play.

Another here eating humble pie, played too deep earlier in season, looks a revelation in the advanced role

Yes, I was in that camp too. He's been afforded that more advanced role where he can be more adventurous because of the roles of Craig and Bailey. Some might say it's a luxury position but, either way, he's making a good job of it. And, to be fair, he has dug in and made some tackles when he's needed to.
He's not as effective in a three in midfield, so he has got limitations but if he keeps playing in this role, he could be a poor man's Sammy Szmodics.

Agree with this. He has been played in a position that suits him. His finishing hasn’t ever really been in doubt and neither has his engine, it was just we were playing him in midfield and asking him to start deep and pass through the opposition. That’s definitely not his game.
A totally different question. Close and Westbrooke don’t suit the style we are playing? Interesting to say the least.

Hopefully the injury isn’t too serious. Not sure if it was the knee slide that caused it as he looked fine until that.

Previously I wouldn't have given him a contract. Now I'm feeling giving him a one year deal and replacing Rowe with someone better than Biggins.
