Brilliant today. The result didn’t go our way in the end but the fans were quality. Wish it was like that every week.

Fair play to the mad bastatd at the back with his shirt off. I didn't want to even get my gloves and hat off!

Think that was my mate.

Difference is, today, people further down the stand joined in. Most weeks, they just aren't arsed. Like that bloke that shouted he forgot our fans were there, while then continuing to stand there in silence afterwards, that summed it up for me.

Agreed. But how quiet were their fans?

The best thing about the game was our fans. I wish it was like that more often. The thing is we (the crowd) played a big part in our goal by getting behind the team for a sustained spell even at a time when the action on the pitch wasn't exactly great. You could see the players respond and we started to get on top of the game a bit culminating in forcing the own goal.

Even some of my mates that weren't at the game text to say the atmosphere sounded good before we scored. It shows what support can do.

Rotherham' support was an embarrassment. There wasn't a peep out of them between our goal and theirs. 4000 people sat on their hands waiting for something to happen. Totally failing to comprehend what being a fan at a derby match means.

Probably heartbroken that they were losing their cup final.

Our fans get some stick but they were an absolute joke. Great numbers, pathetic support.

We knew it was a big game and going to be a big crowd today so I wondered why the flags and banners weren’t brought out to bolster the atmosphere.
The flags are stored below the SS near the bogs so it wouldn’t have been a major task to get them out.
Agreed about the noise levels today being good, especially after we went ahead.

Was very good today, great to see more joining in and bouncing up and down. It's infectious.

We know the people will come, we just need to step it up another level on the pitch. You'd hope the board take inspiration from these big games and continue to back DF in January to strengthen. The gap between average mid table to good play off/promotion credentials isn't that much.

It was very impressive today. We've missed these derby matches for a few years. But the BB definitely stepped up today.

I think it showed that we dislike Rotherham more than any other side. People were bang up for it. It was an early KO as well which usually quietens the atmosphere.

Best atmosphere for a long long time has to be said. As much as this forum gets upset by it. Standing all the way through the middle block from top to bottom today.

Their fans were awful. I hope when we go there we are not as quiet as they were. Luckily we have a ticket office that will sell tickets to standing singers in one block and seated fans other.

Give me today over any choreographed European home fans where half of them don’t even care what’s going off on the pitch.
