Wembley FC v The FA
« on December 22, 2017, 10:11:06 am by DonnyOsmond »
Not sure if people have heard. The FA took Wembley FC to the European trademark union over Wembleys club crest due to it having the word Wembley in as they feel people would confuse the small non league club for the 90,000 seater stadium. The FA won and now Wembley FC have to pay their court costs and could face bankruptcy. The logo was initially filed in 2012 by Wembley FC and The FA never appealed.

The FA who care about grassroots football.

I think the FA should be ashamed of themselves.
How can they be supporting grass roots football and do this to a local non league club.
The least they could do is pay the legal costs surely.
It would be a drop in the ocean to the FA but enough to bancrupt a small non league club.
This is a disgrace, as much support as possible should be given to Wembley FC cause.

This is worse than that stuck up minge bag Victoria 'Posh' Beckham trying to stop Peterborough using The Posh as their nickname.

Cheers lads. How I see it is that at any point it could happen to us and we'd want other clubs to rally around and support us and stand against the bullies.
