Anything sorted yet or do we have a secret goalie in the squad (who could pull on a goalies jersey)?

A shame that he had to be brought back so early. Isn't there a maximum number of loan spells you can take out in a season? Have we just unnecessarily used one up for him?

Unnecessary? If Gary Woods had gotten injured during the game we'd have been totally screwed!

He had Jagielka, who was/is a damn fine Goalkeeper.

I'm sure there's an outfield player who'd not be too bad in between the sticks for half an hour. Especially with the amount of saves Woods had to make last night.

But then, why not use Maxted?and he would then get valuable experience for the future, which an outfield player would not need.

There's a good reason why most top league goalkeepers are on the .. shall we say "mature side"? Experience comes from playing week in, week out and that's what Woods is getting now. If Woods came off injured and Maxted played half an hour before we brought someone else in; would that be more valuable experience rather than playing week in week out on loan at Goole?

Maxted is very highly regarded.  I dare say Dean might consider giving him his chance.

Remember reading somewhere last season that Warnock was not using sub keepers at Leeds and the replacement if needed would have been Billy Paynter.
