He's on a FIFA training course (along with Mark Clattenburg) for potential 2014 World Cup refs this week. He was probably off down to the Smoke.

Saturday's ref is Phil Gibbs who did the Notts County FA Cup tie last season. I don't recall him being too bad, though I do recall Rovers being awful that day!

I've seen him a few times on the Doncaster - Rotherham train. Always a weird thing to see someone high profile on a Northern train/bus (delete as appropriate).

How the hell are those two sentences relevant to each other??  ;)  Webb's probably the worst ref in the PL. AND he's from Rotherham!!!!!!  :suicide:
