Interesting interview in the football league paper. Says he might come back to rovers one day. I’m guessing he’s realised he may have made a mistake.

If he calls again tell him we’re out !!

Can't question him joining Pompey I guess but so frustrating that he hasn't got going yet and he's arguably the missing piece from our puzzle.
-
We'd be near top of the league with him in this team and way we play.
-
We could not afford him And his wages
-
Talksport 2 had a report on the game yesterday, he came on for the second half. and the reporter said he played well and affected the game as a number 10, but said he should be playing as a centre forward as at Doncaster not as a play maker.
The main point he was making was that Portsmouth at the moment try to negate the opposition instead of imposing themselves on their opposition.

and why would you say that, he served us well, its just people did not realise what a great job he did for us abd what we had
-
I think everyone realises what he did for rovers vicar - it's just that (as with any player/manager/coach etc etc) when someone leaves many people choose to see that as a lack of loyalty/class whatever - I have personally never begrudged any player/manager leaving rovers for whatever reason. Most have given their all for the club when here - to differing levels of success! Lol.
I know you are the same - but many aren't.
-
Well it's about time they realised lol, if he ever reads that drivel and he ever wanted to come back then they could do more damage to our club
-
Let’s hope ‘one day’ means January. :)
-
For half what they paid
-
or back on loan?

Marquis used to play for us & made his mark in that period of the club’s history whilst doing so.
As did Alan Warboys, Peter Kitchen, Brendan O’Callaghan, Mike Jeffrey, Mike Elwiss, Billy Sharp etc.
They all ‘moved on’.
So will we.....turn the page & move on. This story will continue far longer than you or I will ever be in a position to be able to read ‘the final chapter’. So let us endeavour to enjoy our time in ‘this story’ as it continues to unfold, before inevitably the time comes for each of us, when we have to pass the story on to others to follow.
I know. Brings a lump doesn’t it.
Apparently Kazou Ishiguro received the last Nobel prize for Literature in 2017. But has he ever ‘embarked upon or immersed himself in the journey’ that is Donny Rovers?
I rest my case & let others be the judge.
