Good old Billy looking at the positives.

We've just go to make sure we fight for every point until he gets back and show him this team is worth playing for.

shouldnt be as bad as expected, he stood up for a couple of seconds wanting to play on, so if he has broken any bones, i doubt it'll be too bad, you can't stand on a leg with a bone broken in 3 places!

Adam - is it not Hayts with the triple break?

His face was very nearlly made out of Richard Naylors fist! He looked as if he was going to deck him when he was up at Billy giving him grief.

Billy was up on his feet after the match when leaving the stadium apparently, albeit on crutches.

If it was a break he wouldn't be doing that.

Surely if there was any chance of a fracture they wouldn't wait until Monday for an x-ray. Let's hope it's not as bad as first thought.

If there is a lot of swelling then they would have to wait for that to go down

This may sound daft but a break/fracture may be a better scenario than ligament damage, a break/fracture can heal in about 6-8 weeks, ligament damage can take at least 6 months

 that's what I said as soon as I heard the news. The sooner we get him back the better. I wonder though, perhaps enter, Rowan Vine, now? Bit gutting to lose your two best strikers after just fcuking off another one in the way we appear to have done.

Think it'd be a bit of a cheek to go back in for Vine now. I think we've pissed him off enough.

I say see what the situation with Billy and James is first. Give Brown a run out on Tuesday to see how he does (might be useful against WHU anyway for his height), and then make a decision from there.

Who would you suggest in Vine's stead?

Shame WHU have big John Carew :( they'll be that much more dangerous and we'll be that much more vulnerable without Billy and Hayts.

No idea mate. Vine said himself on Twitter that he wouldn't be that keen on coming back because the snub (if you can call it that) left a bitter taste for him.

Surely there's a Premier League youngster available on the cheap? Maybe wait for the 25 man squads to be sorted out. If not I suppose we could give Brown and Barnes a go.

Double blow, coming home after 5 hours with nothing and Billy injured. The tackle was disgraceful and he should of seen red, which could of arguably changed our fortunes. But, that will always be an on going debate.

Sounds like the wise Mr Claridge was writing us off with 45 games to go.
