.. for a 3 week trip to the Nou Camp for the ground staff!

No roof on that stadium and no regular rugby matches played there. Coincidence?

FFS can folks stop going on about the stadium, the pitch, the weather etc!!!

For sure if we threw loads of money at the issue we may get less postponements, but that won't always work or may cost more than it is worth.

Old Trafford, Nou Camp, what next?

The clubs mentioned will spend more on their pitch than we spend on our squad.

Wait a second that must be it, lets swap Brian Flynn's budget with the groundstaff,  sure we'd be in conference north dreaming of drawing Lincoln in the FA Trophy but at least our games wont get called off...

It's nothing to do with climate. I worked as a climatologist at the met for 7 years, trust me, the micro-climate of the Don Valley region is fine. The problem is mismangement at the club and Baldwin and co are ultimately culpable. The ground staff need retraining IMO.

They are bidding for the 2022 Winter Olympics and if successful will be the first city to have hosted both winter and summer games.....

The turf in the Nou Camp is grown in Lincolnshire, Saxilby , Sturton Stow area, the turf at Old Trafford and Stamford Bridge comes from the same firm

This is the type of thing a fact finding and knowledge sharing mission would find out.

Barcelona, Spain
Tuesday 21:00
Partly Cloudy

Currently 14   high today 19 ......low today 9. Massive difference in temperatures but Spain can be bloody cold, I've been in Seville in April and it was bloody freezing. For once I was actually pleased to come home.  :(

He captained that container ship too.

You have to admire the adaptability.

Nah he was the Italian captain who took his eye off the ball whilst descibing the climatic conditions on the trip. However he never got to feel the actual sea temperature as he was being rowed to shore whilst the rest went down with his ship.

What a tool you are..  The overall management of this club has come on leaps and bounds in the last year.  If you can't see that, then you're no fan of DRFC.

Now do us a favour and go be a WUM somewhere else...
