I worked as a climatologist at the met for 7 years, trust me, the micro-climate of the Don Valley region is fine. The problem is mismangement at the club and Baldwin and co are ultimately culpable. The ground staff need retraining IMO.
The turf in the Nou Camp is grown in Lincolnshire, Saxilby , Sturton Stow area, the turf at Old Trafford and Stamford Bridge comes from the same firm

.. for a 3 week trip to the Nou Camp for the ground staff! No roof on that stadium and no regular rugby matches played there. Coincidence?
