It was mentioned today on the bbc that billy is the highest league goalscorer this decade.

Highest scoring Englishmen this decade, didn’t know if that means there’s a foreigner that’s scored more. Aguero maybe?

I would imagine Aguero has more this decade. Don’t think there’s anyone else who has been about long enough and scoring goals consistently, English or otherwise.

Billy is the highest scorer in English league football this century.
Agüero is a few goals goals behind him.

Yes, this century (total goals I read but probably league goals as well). But dickos is referring to this decade and I imagine Aguero has scored more in that time.

Just looked it up and in terms of league goals Aguero has scored 153 goals since signing for City in 2011. Sharp has scored 135 since the 2010-11 season, and 15 in the 09-10 season (haven’t looked for the split between 2009 & 2010) so Aguero has scored more this decade. Billy has 220 this century so miles ahead of Aguero (from what I recall Lambert is next on the list)
