I was walking behind Potteric Carr this afternoon and there was a sound like fireworks going off. It lasted for ages. Sounded almost like a firework factory had exploded. Anyone else hear it or know what it was?

I've heard it was Scawsby Steve trying out the sit on giant rocket he got for Christmas. He was over the moon with it.

It was a mate of mine. He set them off to celebrate his wife’s birthday. Spent hours setting them up to go off in a particular order but they ended up going off in an uncoordinated explosive mess. He said his wife’s not talking to him now.

I said ‘that’s bang out of order!’

The fireworks thing was something my wife told me she from Sheffield and it seemed that the estate that she lived on got busy with people walking dogs shortly after a firework went off
