Tonite's game
« on September 26, 2017, 06:13:04 am by DRFCMach2man »
What do we reckon then - Shrewsbury unbeaten this season, we have yet to win at home! Their good start has to hit a blip - tonite could be the nite 2-1 to rovers - our first home win of the season and back to back wins. Come on you reds :rtid:

I'm surprised at the odds on this one given league positions. We're at 6/5, Shrews 11/4 on Betfair. Must be the Plymouth and Arsenal results heavily influencing it, plus they only drew at home last time out.

2-1. Providing we're unchanged. Apparently they get plenty of crosses in, which has been a weak link for us.

We turned the corner at the Arsenal and we are now on a winning run.

 Tonight is the night,

 4-0 to Donny.

Shrewsbury have only conceded 3 all season. It'll be a low scoring game.

Have they?

The table on the BBC website http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/teams/doncaster-rovers/table must be wrong then.  That says they have scored 13 and conceded 6.  10 conceded including cups.  Mostly low scoring games then.

Although that means nowt, it could end up 4-4!!

For the first time ever DF is building a defensively minded team.
Only five teams in the division have conceded less goals than us.

Nah - revenge time for 1975, so 7-4 for the Reds

My mistake I was only looking at September. Anyway I stand by my statement that we won't score 3 😉

Me too, i expect it to be a tight cat and mouse type of game.
We have only won eight of the twenty six games between the teams.
