Just watching Chelsea v Palace and Anthony Taylor is giving a masterclass in how to referee a game.
How I wish we could ref’s who are half as good as him to officiate our matches.

Was thinking the same.

Then I started laughing to myself about Fergie saying he'd have one of them shot cause he was that shite.

Off to Qatar as England's representative as things stand. Is he the one that's genuinely a Man Utd fan and there was a big thing made of it before they played Liverpool once?

Alrintcham fan. Refs aren't allowed to referee any team they're a fan of or a direct rival. Darren England and Craig Pawson apparently aren't allowed to ref us because of local rivalries (if they were to work further down the pyramid).

I was talking to Darren England's dad some years ago. Rovers played Bradford Park Avenue away. A right nice bloke and he told me how some of the top players try to get in the ref's head telling them they got it wrong or missed something.
The ref later sees it on video and knows they were talking crap.
