Rovers VS Boro
« on September 21, 2012, 10:51:40 pm by Mr1Croft »
So what do we all reckon then when the old enemies of the Conference come to the KM for the first time? At home to the team that has won all 3 away games so far this season and remain unbeaten.

For me Stevenage are an example of what we are trying to do but they are perhaps more experienced at it; a big organised physical side that rely on forcing a win over playing pretty football.

I hope the Rovers win, however at the moment I think a draw will be a good result, but if we don't perform we will more than likely be punished by a team hoping to go top of the table.

When you want somebody to take the p out of  "Boro on the South Downs" vanishes

I look forward to Mick having a crack at Boro on the South Downs.  That would certainly be pure comedy gold.  We'd just need Watford Anne to join in for the (un)holy trinity.

Great read as always Fuzzy!
I think today will also show why we were so interested in their defensive pair; especially Mark Roberts who is one of the better centre-backs in this league.

I think the key could be how well our front 4 play.  I'd like to see us go two up front at home and give Brown a partner.  Maybe even time to give Hume his first start?

"@paulgoodwinDFP: #drfc Billy Paynter misses out again - not on the bench. Saunders clearly does not want to rush him back and risk him suffering a setback."

We'll win 3-1...

Don't know who all the scorers will be, but central midfield maestro Husband will come on late on and score the 3rd on the counter.

I'm missing the game (Don't ask. Long story).

Maybe I'm the anti-Philsky?  Maybe we can't win unless I'm there?   We shall see......

Sounds like the changes have bucked things up. Nice to hear some noise from the crowd.

To be honest, I'd have taken a draw at 3pm today.

Sounded like another cameo appearance by Benno,  showing up in fits and starts.
