TLO Doncaster vs Sunderland
« on October 23, 2018, 03:11:00 pm by IDM »
I always say the next game is the most important, regardless of the opposition.

However for a whole variety of reasons, many not related to the football, I am looking forward to this fixture..

I’ve been around long enough not to raise expectations and this could be a drab 0-0, but I’m hoping for a great atmosphere and some decent entertainment..!

Glad to see Kane fit and a return for Wright after Anderson’s horror show at the weekend.

Can Copps get Cattermole sent off by running a few rings around him. I would think McCann would want to stifle him and stop them ticking.

Our full backs will have to be on top form tonight mind.

Impressed with the Sunderland Chairman being in the middle of the Northstand, seems a very popular bloke.

From twitter, and BBC stats it's looking good so far for us. Just need a bit of good fortune. Wish I was there for this.

Cattermole getting a yellow so early on is a positive.

We are well in this and they are rattled.. two yellow cards already for cynical midfield fouls.

Cattermole took 7 minutes to go through one of our lads. Booked on 15 mins for a foul on Wilks. Both central midfielders for them booked. Get at ‘em. Rovers doing very well.

Good afternoon everyone, seems like we are more than holding our own against Sunderland. Yes they are a big club, but in the same league as us, we can beat them.

Wilks receives a yellow card for an off-the-ball incident with Chris Maguire. Ben Whiteman also sees yellow for an earlier foul on Cattermole.

Wilks pulled back when through on goal. Not obviously but he was impeded. Nothing given.

Blairy with a golden chance... just needed to lift it over the advancing keeper. Half time. Rovers better team there without a doubt. Set up perfectly slept a cracking second half. Great game.

How the f**k did Blair not score then?  Credit to their ‘keeper for coming out so quick to block the one on one.. Wilks should have done better in a similar position a minute earlier, mind you, I thought he was being fouled - but on a yellow he can’t risk going down too easy..

We are well in this.. Sunderland have quality of course and we will need to stay at them..

I was a bit worried in the first 5 mins.. but then we got into the game and have been great since, apart from not scoring..

Marquis scuffed one too, from a Wright knock down..
