Is Balcombe capable of catching and holding on to a lofted in ball?

We've started the game like DM has revved them up, you can see them trying, but its just not there. James has been uncharacteristically poor, as has Richards.

We need to look at our team in context, yes individually many do have certain skills that are very good, yet we come up against far better players which is baffling,...

we are now looking like a team without a plan, and find ourselves chasing games

Our keeper has gone from very safe to “ oh no ...another set piece”

We need to create more and prevent more .....and start bossing teams with our supposed better players,...because the top six is looking shaky on this trajectory

Okenabirhie is way off form today and James playing really well today.  Richards is doing better and nearly scored there.  Bostock looks a good signing he’s running it.

Frustrating as we've had chances to get back into it, but we've upped the speed of approach play as the half went on which is what we really needed to do IMO.

We're doing the right things. If the score was 0-0 i think we'd be saying that was a decent half and the game is there for the taking... just keep doing what we're doing etc.

We’ve been the better team in that first half, that was a kick in the nuts to concede from that free kick. Very well taken but I’d be expecting Balcombe to get to that, it was the perfect height for a save and he had enough time to get across to it.

We should keep playing as we are and I’m sure something will come.
We’ve already shown last week that our heads don’t drop when we’re behind so let’s go again this half.

Just don’t concede any more from set-pieces, please!

On that showing I think Copps would be more productive out on the right than Fej has been.

Where was yellow card for taking out Richards?

Ref has warned enough of them but probably though 2 minutes plus had gone by so we would have forgotten

Yet another tame free kick for their goal as well imo

Exactly, he at least obstructed Balcombe's view of the free kick. I said when the referee blew his whistle that he couldn't stand there - ref oblivious to it. (as well as the commentators).

Again, the referee not doing his job. He played the advantage, even though Bogle had nowhere to go, and when the ball did eventually go out of play....nothing.

I dare say this is our strongest 11 and its just not a good enough team to be fighting for a top 6 place
