Glad Toffolo is back in, Garratt looked lost against MK. Houghton makes a big difference in that midfield and pleasing to have May and even Longbottom back fit on the bench!

I like that team. Sneaky feeling we are going to win today

From BBC it looks like we're under the cosh..

Twitter agrees with that.

Doesn't sound like we're doing too bad, if not up to the standard of the Scunthorpe game.

Not really under the cosh but Oxford have had more possession last 10 mins
Title: Re: Oxford v Rovers
Post by: Peebles Rover on December 09, 2017, 03:35:07 pm
We're pressing quite well
Title: Re: Oxford v Rovers

Rowe and Coppinger have both had headers at goal the last couple of minutes.

And Marquis now.

36' Rowe is fouled just outside the area, Tiendalli is booked 0-0 #DRFC

38' YELLOW to Mousinho for a foul on Marquis as Doncaster try to break free from United pressure.  United unhappy after the previous penalty appeal. #OUFC 0-0 #DRFC

Refs getting a lot of abuse from Oxford.  He’s booked two of theirs now.  Marquis is winding them up.

Not sure how much the press association feeds that go on the BBC site can be trusted - the Oxford twitter feed refers to at least 2 more headers by us that were saved, yet aren't on the other stats..

Marquis got a stern warning then for his antics.  We’re holding our own here, defending well, winning possession but not offering much up front.  Half time.

Seems the plan is to frustrate them. Crowd sound to be getting agitated. Alfie May to come on second half?

Bugger

58' Close for Doncaster. Tommy Rowe fires in a shot through a crowd that hits the inside of Eastwood's left-hand post and sneaks along the line before United clear. #OUFC 0-0 #DRFC

57' Tommy Rowe is so close to the opening goal. He forces his way into the area and places a shot which bounces back off the inside of the far post and rolls all the way back across goal to safety 0-0 #DRFC

Putting the kettle on satisfied with a point away from home, then come back to TV and seeing the score!

Don't declare a result until the game is over please!

According to twitter feeds we had an Alfie May chance at 90+5 - if we score that would we be complaining about the extra added on time??

At the end of 90 mins which was 15 seconds before the 4th official held up the board showing 3 minutes, I set my stopwatch going on my phone.
I paused the stopwatch at the injury and restarted it when play resumed.
They scored after 5 minutes of actual play when there were no other stoppages.

Game should have been over well before they scored.
