Well at least the Football League are giving plenty of notice this season. Last season they changed the time, then the day, then the time again before settling on something that didn't suit anybody, and left it so late the early train tickets were worthless.

Seems our complaints aren't falling on deaf ears.

12.30 again!? What is the earthly point? Don't just say 'for TV' either, it still makes no sense at all. Do Sky miraculously have some major Golf event booked for the last day of the season every year or something?

Isn't there some sort of rule that prevents 3pm Saturday kick-offs being shown live on TV? If that's the case, then I'm afraid the answer is 'for TV'!

Essentially it is for TV. All games on the last day have to kick off at the same time and they can't kick off at 3pm as that would clash with other Leagues. I dare say it was either 12.30 or 5.30.

The Premier League won't allow FL games to kick off at the same time as their matches, therefore it can only be 12.30.
