I wander how long Back Stabber will hold out before he throws Rayner under a Boris bus?

''Starmer dismisses Tory attack on Rayner as 'billionaire PM smearing working-class woman'
Starmer says the Tories have been smearing a working-class woman''

And

''James Daly, the deputy chair of the Conservative party, wrote to Greater Manchester police asking them to investigate Angela Rayner and, when the force initially declined to look into it, he successfully persuaded them to think again.

But in interviews Daly has refused to say what he thinks Rayner did wrong. He did this yesterday on Politics Live, and again today on Sky News''

Why should he?

''A supposedly grassroots ‘tax protest’ against Labour party Deputy Leader Angela Rayner, which hit the headlines on Wednesday, was organised and conducted by Conservative party politicians, one of the organisers has admitted to Byline Times''

One side of political divide tries to discredit the other side shock.
Come on Syd, don’t pretend to be surprised that things like this happen.

Depressingly familiar reporting by the BBC.

That info about the MP calling a retired fund manager a 3:15 to demand £5k to pay off "bad people" was all over the media yesterday.

Until they changed the content this morning, that BBC page was just saying the MP was accused of misusing party funds.

That's what happens when you stuff senior BBC management full of ex Tory party officials and donors. They bend over backwards to give the Tories the least damaging coverage possible.

Starmer is a lawyer, he’ll have cross examined Raynor and come to the conclusion that there is no case to answer, I think Labour ate enjoying this when for when it eventually comes out that the Tory MP has been wasting Police time

Starmer is a very poor ‘Woke’ finger wagging Nanny state Buffoon, Rayner will have denied every thing and told him he was bullying her!
He will have kacked his pants and done nothing!
The CCof GMP is a very firm but fair man if there is no case to answer that will be that, no chance of another wasted investigation into ‘Wasting PoliceTime” if there is some evidence to support a conviction there will be a conviction.

waiting to see if there's any case to actually answer as I understand, following the first time where it was said there wasn't.  Slightly different to a bloke with previous for male prostitutes and drug involvement having action taken after 3month after party office informed.

Funniest comment on Bad People Gate is Dominic Cummings saying how Westminster is full of incompetent sociopaths.

That's of course the sociopathically incompetent Dominic Cummings who used to run Westminster.

Just dawned on me, d'oh.

The reason the Tory party deputy chair has been pushing the police now of all times to open the investigation into Rayner.

They must have known that they couldn't keep a lid on Bad People Gate for much longer.

And in other news, the husband of Nicola Sturgeon has been charged with embezzlement of SNP funds.

If after GMP have concluded their investigation and the ginger one has nothing to answer for then all well and good.

I'm just trying to visualise the meltdown on here from certain sources if the investigation coughed up anything positive, the backtracking would be illuminating!

You obviously have a very neutral stance on this with the 'ginger one'.
That's pleasing to see.

Not sure why i'm wasting my time with you.

Do you have a point? or is it just your usual post a load of guff, i don't think i've ever seen a post of any sort of relevance from you.

Are you a bit special?

Oh dear!

No fewer than four Conservative MPs have declined to disclose whether they paid capital gains tax on profits made from the sale of their own taxpayer-funded second homes.

A Mirror investigation has revealed that David Tredinnick, Eleanor Laing, Shailesh Vara and Maria Miller raked in a combined £5.4 million between them from flogging houses funded by the public.

They have all declined to comment on whether they paid any tax on the profits they made

All 5 of them should regardless of party.  They must follow the law.  Also if they've followed the law and found loopholes let the public know so they can judge the morality of it.
