Town centre pubs
« on Today at 07:29:59 am by NickDRFC »
It’s been many a year since I had a drink in the town centre (15+, and even then it was normally either Silver Street at a weekend or Tuesday night Walkabout) but heading back nice and early today and hoping to take in 2 or 3.

Any suggestions? Ideally with an outside area given the weather looks decent. T’Sal is a given.

Red Lion has a great outside beer garden, as does the Black Bull. Yorkshire Grey on Hallgate will probs have seats outside.

All the pubs mentioned by DonnyBaz are sound, we end up in Paris Gate for the taxi rank over the road.

Tut still largely worth a visit. Little Plough next door is an experience.

You're here nice and early. Start at the Masons in the market square. Nip next door to The Queen for one after.

Then make your way to the Hallcross where the atmosphere will start building.

Finally move onto The Sal which will be absolutely rammed but is obligatory nowadays.

What is the BVB like?

Cheswold is normal joint for pre-match festivities!
