While reading about Paul Scoles It mentioned Richie Wellens.
Looks like Hes doing well.
Would we have him back here in his new role.

With all his experience Wellens would be a decent addition to our coaching side.
Because of his playing style he might be the man to add a bit of niggle to the game of some of our lads too.
However i don't think Ferguson would welcome him and may even see him as a potential threat.

As a player he would be the perfect addition for reasons stated above. As a character I'd stay well away.

Class act Wellens. Always liked listening to his interviews, says it like it is and really understands the game. His legs had gone in his second spell with us but he’s the best midfielder we’ve had for a long long time.

That sports reporter on BBC breakfast seemed to think Paul Scholes would be a good manager - and seemed to only think that because he's famous!

Was there a legends lounge when Wellens was here?

Well said Red.  He’s another one on TV who’s so up himself it hurts.  He talks more sxxt than Danny Murphy and that’s hard.
He’s another one being interviewed for a job in football because he could play.  Doesn’t for one minute mean he will be able to manage.  Look at Roy Keane   Good working for someone else can’t manage.  So many people in football being employed on history.  Look at all the sxxt managers failing everywhere they go and getting re employed soon after.   Some of the best managers in the world were not good players.  Jose. Arsene.  Rafa.  Villas boas. Those 2 lads-at Lincoln (forgot their names).  It’s about football clubs woke up and tasted the coffee

He might have got lucky over three games?

I hope he gets a job somewhere and has at least 100 games and experiences a number of different situations so we can properly see what he's made of as a manager.

Good player, but I wouldn't want him back now.

Not pure luck if a side can't win a game and then he wins 3 on bounce. If they win tomorrow he'll be their first manager ever to win their first 4 games

In a short time posting, you’ve slurred a former player and the chairman.
strange?

I'd rather judge him after 100 games or so which will give a proper reflection on his managerial ability.

It is very strange isn't it? Especially that they've been allowed to ride on the forum despite absolutely nowt to back the claims.
The deletion of all his historic posts is equally as odd an all.

Can be difficult to turn around a long run of bad results. Agreed.

I didn't call it luck! Hence the question mark!

4 wins out of 4 is a great return. Obviously he could not do any more.
But it doesn't yet prove that he is a good manager.
