John Jules

If he has pulled his Hamstring and is out for 6-8 weeks then would it be best to terminate his loan deal and bring another striker in on loan. He could potentially miss 12-15 games..... definitely need reinforcements in this week

Couldn’t agree more. It would be a shame to ditch JJ, as he’s been doing ok, but with the fixture schedule like it is, it just has to be considered.

Some serious head scratching to do!

Don’t think you can cancel his loan just like that

I’m sure there will be clauses for both sides to terminate loan deals at the mid way point

not unless he is out for rest of season

Tullough isn’t out for the season and we terminated that deal

The majority of loans include “can be recalled” but not “loan can be terminated”. Injuries clauses do get included but IF he’s out for 8 weeks then it won’t be activated - unless parent clubs feel that the medical team at the club can’t do the required job.

If he's going to be back by the end of February, then I definitely would not want to see his loan end. He's been a good player for us. Hopefully it's just a pull or strain and he's back before long.

We need another attacker coming in regardless.

Of he cames back by the end of February then that's fine we will still have plenty of football to play

Something else to consider is Moore seems to let players take ages to get back up to speed, so it could end up being March before we see him again at the earliest, potentially.

If Feji gets injured we're done for right now so even if JJ is back by end of Feb we'd do well to get a striker in. Weirdly even with Ben going i'd say striker is priority to get in the window. Wonder what Niall Ennis is doing? he'd suit how we play imo

Hoden reckons we have gone cold on Ennis.

Let’s see what comes back from his scan, with some luck, if he felt it tweak and came off as a precaution, we may be looking at 2/3 weeks. If it’s broke down then 6/8 weeks. Personally I’ve been really impressed with him, and would love to see him stay till the end of the season.

The way JJ reacted leads me to believe it’s a 6 week minimum

Reece James might as well play up front again. Once back from suspension of course.

I'd go with that. Did mine in the summer and was back playing in 6 weeks.

It’s probably a bit harsh to be critical after the win but I hope John-Jules got a rollicking for their goal. He ran out to charge down but when he got within a few yards slowed to a trot and turned his back. Very poor and you’d expect more commitment.

Hope he’s not out for too long though as would leave us very reliant on Fej.

I'd go for Ennis. He improved loads for us as the season went on.

You wouldn't want Ennis based on his performances this season though would you?

He's being played on the right wing from what I've seen of Burton.

JJ was gutted he knows he’s out for a while, such a pity (both for him personally and the team). Feji seems much more comfortable with someone up front with him

If we don't get anyone in to replace JJ for Tuesday, what about Cam John up front with Fej?
Amos and Horton cover the LB slot, and CJ carries a threat with the header.

Just a thought...I'll get me coat!
