He’s set to sign for Peterborough on loan for rest of the season... I though there was a rule where players couldn’t play for more than 2 clubs in one season

Something with it being an emergency loan gets round the 'two clubs' rule maybe? Does seem odd otherwise.

Joe Lumley has played for 3 clubs this season, QPR, Gillingham & DRFC!

Yes and our own right back who has been at Maidstone is precluded from playing for us apparently ...bizarre !

That has nothing to do with the two clubs rule though, and everything to do with the complexity of the National League season being curtailed.

If, as was reported, we had a recall clause in the deal with Maidstone, I wonder whether we could activate that clause.

The emergency loan is different to the normal loan rules. For Bursik.

For Charlie Seaman and Lirak Hasani
Under rule 55 if players return early from a loan were the player and 2 clubs agree they cannot play first team football for their parent club for the rest of the season.

I felt he was the least convincing of the four goalkeepers to appear for us this season. That’s not to say he won’t go on to have a good career, he’s only young. But, as the first goalkeeper to play for us since Dieng, the gulf in ability appeared huge.

Strange, I thought he was the best of the keepers to play for us this season.
Went back and played 16 games for Stoke, and kept seven clean sheets.
Can't be that bad.

I thought he was the worst of the keepers we’ve had this season, maybe Stokes defence is a tad better than ours

I wasn't a great fan either. We will probably have to face him at least twice before the season ends.... if not 4 times. No doubt in those games he will have a blinder.....

Robertson was on loan at Gillingham THIS season before he came here. He went there in September 2020 and played 15 times for them before being recalled by Celtic
