The Clash were never the same after Joe Strummer died, they`ve stooped to a new low supporting Scouting for Girls :)

I guess Clash will give SFG a lesson in how to play a "Live" gig.

Bodes ill for the future of mankind, doesn't it BST? We can't fill the Keepmoat but 20,000 will turn up to watch that load of rubbish.

HAng on, its all spin.  Its 20,000 tickets to the races.  It just happens that Scounting for girls will be on too.  I'll tell you now, there will be no way a quarter of them stop for SFG.  Only about 10k stopped for Madness last year.

Aye, but there was only 10k stopped.  SFG wont get anywhere near what Madness did.

Why for this particular meeting then have 20k tickets sold? Unless its for the Leger, Donny Racecourse doesn't attract anything near that.

The problem is you can't just buy tickets for the racing you have to buy the package for SFG too even if you don't want to watch them.
No good for purists of the racing game as this effectively bars them from the racecourse unless they want to shell out the £30 entrance fee

Apart from it was also Unison race day. Unison members could get 2 tickets for £17. If it wasn't the opening day if the season I'd have been there with about 20 from my work.
