Really, really pleased. I think he will become a better player under Grant, as we saw once he shook off his injury & Grant gave him free rein on either wing.

A better finisher than Jon Taylor was & his tracking back is a real asset for a ‘real team player’.

Haks was ‘our luxury’ player since January & I wish him well wherever he ends up & hope he gets as much support from fans, game time & freedom on the pitch as he did here. Only time will tell whether his brief time with us ends up being the happiest of his career when he looks back.

Biggins is replaceable in my opinion. If Grant says we have a ‘Tommy Rowe replacement’ on the radar that will do for me.

Great business so far & we’re still in May!

I thought Hakeeb was one of the players in January who turned our season around, but the last 4/5 games of the season, he noticeably dropped off.
My thoughts exactly.

Syd, the problem is when compromise turns into total sell out. I look forward to being proved to be utterly wrong.

Absolutely buzzing with this news. He was the one player, of the three, that I really hoped would stay.

If Andy Summers and Stewart Copeland left 'The Police' they could have always found another bass player and a drummer. Sting was integral. I'm confident Biggo and Haks, while missed, can be replaced but Molyneux is the band. (Apologies  to anyone under 35 for this
contemporary pop music analogy).

As others have alluded to, he gets it here and his relationship with the supporters was a key part of his decision  making process.  Something  worth considering before launching  a virtual, or vocal attack on a player for not performing.  Your support is valued and it matters.

Anyway. Great news

Oooh. Got to disagree there. The three members of The Police were what made them the band they were. Sting has had numerous drummers and Dominic Miller on guitar for decades but it’s not the same as the energy with Copeland and Summers, imho…

Keith explains to Beth why he has abandoned his pledge to increase taxes on the top 5% of earners;

He does not seem to have understood that would increase revenues...it is NOT an additional cost!

Brains of a chuffing gnat!
will just mean more cuts to public services and I predict the personal allowance will be kept frozen.

See he is creating more negative PR with Diane Abbott today.

I saw Jonathan somebody or other. shadow Health Minister on telly this morning and when asked whether they would raise the personal allowance if they win, he declined to comment.

why take so long to announce the outcome of the investigation though?

?
Labour investigating Diane Abbott.

The investigation concluded 5 months ago but Starmer and fellow MPs stating it was still ongoing to exclude her from running to be an MP again.

A bit of a mess really.

Thanks, I hadn’t heard about that due to having three grandchildren here all day.
As much as I don’t particularly care for DA, it is a disgraceful move to do that to her.
I wonder whether our Southern Hemisphere friend will stick up for her woman’s rights like he has done for others.

What I find mildly amusing (not) is that those that consider themselves left of the left and therefore should want the longest, broadest most level playing field ever, spend their time criticising the only party that stands a snowflakes chance but won't tell anyone the policies of the party they are going to vote for.

hmmmm
