Done. He's up against some good players there. It's a pity they haven't done a summary of their achievements during the month as I'm sure Liam's goals and assists will take some beating, especially for a young lad.
-
Done, he's last at the moment, come on chaps.
-
An "expert panel" including Paul Merson and Peter Beagrie? There's an oxymoron in there somewhere.
Anyway, voted for Mandy!
-
done second now
-
My vote just put him ahead!
Come on guys, get voting!
-
These polls are daft.
I wouldn't want rovers fans exposing how daft they are by opening up a different browser and voting multiple times.
-
Times like this we could do with a famous celebrity to get their millions of fans to vote
-
Done, he's now 25% ahead of the Pompey player who's 24%
-
I've done my vote(s)
-
Official Twitter account haven't got on board! @vscofficial get it tweeted! :scarf:
-
Surely pompey players win this every time they get a nomination?
-
Done
-
He has 30 votes now
-
Done now on 31%
-
+1 on 32%
-
Done, up to 34% now, his nearest rival is on 25% as of 3-45pm. today. Good luck Liam.
-
Done, and at 3.46 it's still the same scores
COYR
-
Sorry, forgot to mention that 34% puts Liam in the lead. Keep voting peep's.
-
Voted
-
Guess it's only me who can't see how to vote.
-
Does this poll actually determine the winner though? I'm sure a player for another club won the poll for player of the month and Coppinger ended up winning it anyway a couple months back?
-

No, it determines the winner of the 'PFA Fans' Player of the Month' which is not the actual player of the month award. Which is one of the reasons these polls are daft.
-
Yep we could do with millions of screaming girls voting for him

Just clickbait isnt it, get people on their site so they can sell adverts to companies.
I voted by the way.
-
Winning with under 10 minutes remaining.
-
37% of 5627 votes says Liam has 2082 votes.
-
Showing 38% I presume voting has closed
-
certainly closed now
-
Good luck to the lad, exceptional last month !
-
When was the last youth player who genuinely made a difference to a league team. I can't remember one!!
-
Didn't we originally sign James Husband as a youth player?
-
Another player whose career died after moving to a bigger better club..

Where is he now, btw?

He's done it! Nice one!
-
Well done Liam! :scarf:
-
Following his goal yesterday, Liam Mandeville is the first player to score five goals in the space of four League games since Billy Sharp did so in November- December 2011.
-
Not sure what his goal celebration was all about but it looked like he was having fun.
In the post Conference era, the only young players and can recall getting excited about were, Craig Nelthorpe, Wade Fairhurst, James Husband, and oh, Andy Watson.
Other than Hubby, you wonder whether the others had what it takes between the ears to dedicate themselves to making it!
I hope Liam sets himself a higher standard. He's got a manager that won't let him forget he's not the finished article and will keep his feet on the ground.
-
Think his celebration was to do with a video what is going round Facebook where a young kid does the bottle challenge then celebrates with a sliding 'dab'. Maybe have to see it to understand, it's 2 weird things people are doing at the minute.
-
Dab is cringe.
-
Any of our players caught dabbing should be fined a month's wages.
-
Well done to him well deserved a good month's work.
-
He's a great player. I am a bit worried about a large club putting in a massive offer for him though.
-
L**ds like nicking our players, hopefully the smell of the place is so bad, that Mandy would be put off going there.
-
I think he'll know it's too early to be seduced by the dark side. All being well he'll continue his progress during the rest of this season and come back for the start of next, a much better physically and mentally prepared player to make the step up to League One.

As I've said elsewhere, three of his pals are kicking their heels in the stiffs at Leeds. I'll bet they'd all rather be playing for a team that's top of their League.
-
Lots of young players follow the money, James Husband is a classic example.
There is a likely hood that Liam may do the same.
Too many young lads are happy to get big money but not play so often.
-
If he carries on as he has been doing we will get an offer but it won't be big enough to get him. Husband only needs a few injuries and he will get his opportunity. He had no choice when Middlesbrough came in for him he had to take the opportunity it offered.
Football is a career and it can be a short one so any player moving up can't be begrudged as long as we get a proper fee for them. By the way what do you see as a proper fee for Mandeville at the minute?, What is the figure that means it's too good to turn down?

Nothing less than 1 million, for L**ds 2 million
-
I think we are getting a little carried away with Liams success. Good as he has been he is far from the finished article for someone to make a 7 figure bid for him in January, carry on as he has done and he will be a big money transfer, but not yet JMHO
