The one 'ray of sunshine' on Saturday.

What a lift to see an attacking full back with good pace. He looked really assured, taking up good positions & giving Tommy Spurr a real outlet on the left side.

His close control & ability to take on his 'opposite number' & regularly get past him to play a ball into the box, bodes well for his future development as he gains more first team experience.

I reckon he could well do a job for us in midfield if called upon, given his already astute vision & reading of play.

Early days I know but, the closest we've 'produced' yet to an Ian Snodin?

Yeah, when Spurr can move back to his position the team will go some with Hubby further forward

Personally I thought it was the worst performance I've seen from him. Neshed a tackle in the first half that nearly caused us to concede.

Yes also for me I thought it was his worst game to date in the hoops!
