iFollow streaming question
« on September 08, 2020, 08:13:44 am by deebee »
If there is more than one season ticket holder living at the same address each with their own email address and are registered with iFollow. I assume they will each receive a passcode for home matches. They then decide to all watch the game on one device, can the other/others give their passcode/passcodes to a third party who are also registered with iFollow but not a season ticket holder watch the matches?

They would have to sign in using the email address the code was sent to for it to work

This may be a sore point, and I do know that families have bought multiple season tickets, but the streaming fee is the only income the club have at the moment. If it becomes widespread it will cause the club an issue.

Another point though is that there are a lot of under 18's who have bought season tickets but can't stream the game as you have to be over 18 to be able to register for iFollow. Where is their compensation?

Just remind me how much a season ticket is for U18's?

Lets not forget this is a temporary solution, designed so far for a couple of games.

Yes it’s working..

I was a bit disappointed that the commentators said early in the game that we lack strength in depth.

There’s the two new loanees to add, our two left backs, our first choice keeper and potentially the two triallists including Butler.  That’s 7 players not including any surprises.  Bit short sighted I think..

Where do you actually log onto the game. I have the EFL ifollow app downloaded from the play store and it just seems to be a collection of videos.  If you click on account then subscription, it asks you to use your clubs ifollow? Where is this? Is it a browser service? I'm very tech savvy but find ifollow a royal pain in the......

If it was early in the commentary IDM I took their comment differently.
I thought they said there wasn’t much depth available from the bench, meaning for tonight’s match.

Someone suggested the other day about a step by step guide to accessing the match on satdi, my starter for 10, once my code turns up, is where  do I actually use it?

So ive registered on drfc, strangely in the menu you have ifollow and matches as two separate options,. But then under matches you have a 2nd ifollow oprion2, which is a different set of options to the first ifollow. In the 2nd menu, theres ifollow and ifollow rovers as 2 options?
So all that to one side, I finally found live match centre, on here you can register, or buy tickets? No where is there an option to enter a code to bypass having to buy a ticket?  I have worked in computers for coming up to 30 years, I know my way around systems.  The drfc ifollow combo is not what I would describe as a dream team when it comes to Web design.

I understand that the match pass codes for ST holders will be issued 48 hours before a game.
Perhaps the passcode option will come up then.

I hope so hound, I literally have never been on a more frustrating web set up in many a year? I still can't fathom why we are instructed to down load the app from the play store? It looks like it's got bugger all to do with live games?

I don't see what the price of their ST has got to do with it. They have paid for something they are not going to receive. Tell me any other business where people under 18 pay for something and then are told sorry you can't have what you have paid for as you are not old enough?. They have paid their money so should receive the same level of service.
