Both teams up there Hound, but Charlton have ambitions to significantly strengthen in this transfer window, the further behind they are at this juncture in the season the better to my mind as they have the advantage of being a London club and attract good players both on loan from big local clubs and for their own signings.

I'm not confident on this one. They have Dock playing who always seems to score against us. Mowbray seems to have them playing well as well. My thoughts are stay in the game and battle for everything as long as poss in the hope we catch them on the break with our pace up front.

Lawro has it as 2-1 to Blackburn?

Just first thought at the draw was, well we have done ok this year for once. Better luck next year. Let's hope they surprise me like they did v Preston a couple of seasons ago

I actually can't find a single instance of Bradley Dack scoring against us in 7 games played for either Blackburn or Gillingham. No doubt he is a cracking player on his day though, and big mates with Alfie May I believe.

One of those games, a 1-1 draw, the Gills scorer was one John Marquis!

Could be wrong but think he has played 6 times against us, won 3, drawn 2 and lost 1, so he has won as many as he has not won against us. And he has never scored against us.

I’m sure I watched Gills play us of park once and he was the orchestrator of everything good and I’m sure he scored

I'm pretty sure he just backs whoever he reckons the favourite will be in every prediction.

It does make you think the club are taking the Micky out of us,
Denying he’s going anywhere saying the bids are rejected, yet he’s not in the squad

Granted he could be injured but would seem to be a big coincidence

Or he could have been one of those most affected by COVID, along withTaylor and Smith?

By the way does Butler playing mean his contract has been extended?

Didn’t Moore say he was training and would be playing at weekend during the week, that would suggest he was not one of them with covid, I could be wrong thou

There are rumours he has refused to play to force a move, obviously could be bullshit.

That's an odd position to adopt.

I can guarantee, as of 1 hour ago, that the club have not received any increased offers for BW and that the position remains the same, i.e. those two offers they had have been rejected.

As has been mentioned above though Moore stated he’s trained all week and would be playing today.
So it is odd that he’s not even in the squad

Yes, but that's different to suggesting the club are taking the micky and lying about the transfer position.

If he’s fit though why else would he not be in the squad?

I don't believe that, Ben seems to have a very smart head on his shoulders. Not the kind of thing I see him doing.

Whatever the reason for Whiteman’s absence, that is an awful side!

Some people would check their birth certificate if the club sent them a happy birthday email.

Maybe Smoke and mirrors and all that, don't want to advertise to Mowbray who's not playing.

People pointlessly speculating again.  Some fans haven't learnt lessons from the past have they?

Go and investigate and report back with your evidence. Choose your witnesses carefully and let us know if we need to call the police.

Sorry but you bring it on yourself sometimes.

In the meantime, there's a game of football on.

At least Blackburn have left Armstrong and Gallagher on the bench.

Well, if nowt else, its a chance for those playing to get the rustiness out. The outcome isn't really that important.

Mowbray might have wasted some time at least on plans to shut Whiteman out of the game!

Some people just can’t accept anything bad said about the club.
The facts are Moore said he was fit and ready to play, and now after significant interest and offers being made he’s now not in the squad
