After such terrible luck with injuries,he looks like a man with a point to prove. I hope he proves that point.

I like the look of Owen Bailey too, surprised nobody has mentioned him, got through a lot of work in midfield and kept us in possession numerous times.

Pick of the signings for me up to now, looks an excellent player.

For me so far, he's the nearest to the missing link in midfield. The anchor, the pivot, the DM the QB, whatever we want to call it. Hope he settles even further into the role when the whistle blows and makes it his own. He could become our MVP.

The pace of the game bypassed Bannon 1st half. Started getting in to it 2nd before was it Bailey or Broadbent pushed  up on him as soon as he received the ball. Bannon got away with it in L1 will be a bit harder in Champ.

He looked better than Broadbent I thought.

Really hoping that is our midfield to start, with Biggins as a sub

Yes. Good impact player if we need a goal but Baz was right in another post - Broadbent is more disciplined with positioning and gets stuck in.

Ironside is so frustrating to watch, seems to have one gear
Silly

Really? I could see this coming a mile away. Hardly impressive today was he?

We need pace up front, and he has zero. Yes he’s a handful, but no threat the opposing goal.

I have a feeling Taylor is going to have a bit of good luck, injury wise this season . If that happens he could be important for us doing well.
