Tomorrow's Cup Final
« on May 02, 2014, 01:17:39 pm by RobTheRover »
Yes, that's right.  We are in a cup final tomorrow.

That's how we need to approach this as fans.  Its one game.  All or nothing.  Glory or despair.

Those of us lucky(?) enough to be going need to leave our larynx behind after the game for it will be spent and no use to anyone.

Come on you reds!  Lets get the result that keeps this in our own hands.

Could do with some mid-table obscurity next season to keep us all sane

You should know a lot earlier than that.

Not quite. Depending on Millwall a cautious point might be needed!

Glad you put it in those terms, Rob, because we've got a bloody good record in Cup Finals.

In fact, since 1998 I can only remember us losing one- and that really didn't matter.

I've only know one man get the kick off time wrong. He posts on here, so I shall save his embarassment, but he phoned me at half two saying he was setting off for Doncaster shortly. From Northampton.

He didn't make kick off.

Can't see many other clubs not managing to sell out if they were in our position. Poor effort.
Bear in mind, we could have had 3000 if we needed.

At the end of the day it's just a football match.

Very true BB - I've seen the guy who was my best man bury his 40 yo wife today as her battle against leaukameia was lost - she leaves 3 girls of 7, 4 and (nearly) 2 motherless! 3 different schools in chesterfield were closed in her honour today!  My 39 yo wife is still in the 'not clear yet zone' after breast cancer! Yep as important as tomorrow is and however shitty/elated we all feel at 2:30 in the afternoon - it is still just a game of football!

My wife and I will be at the game tomorrow, ross and lydia (the 7yo) will be willing drfc on despite being man city sths and everything they've been through today! The fact that my claire will be with me tomorrow when kate was diagnosed after claire means that we'll view the game as a very special game especially if brum's result is matched and we stay in the Championship!

Sorry to hear that Al, puts things into perspective doesn't it?

I suggest you read Al's post and then have a little think about what is really important, and what is "poor"...

Reading barely managed half that last week at the KM and they are pushing for a play off place, are you saying they would have brought more had they been in our position? I don't think so!

Evening everyone, Leicester fan here just wanting to wish you all the best.

Ideal scenario for us would be a win to get over the 100 points and Brum to lose.

Hope whatever the match outcome you stay up though.

Enjoy your day and make some noise.

You'll get 100 points with a draw :)  could mean we stay up assuming Brum don't win.

Party all round :scarf:

Congratulations for your achievements this season.
