Ipswich are only a handful of places above us and we have yet to create a meaningful attack.

I did and said it was shit ,watching this is worse ,know way can anybody say this is acceptable we will be down by the end of February ,we are shocking ,we don't have a clue what we are doing we ,the midfield is lightweight,the attack is non existent and  square balls across the middle of the park were poor to be polite

To be fair, I was one of the main critics of the performance against Morecambe, as you well know and took flack from some for it.

This is another performance that has to be criticised. On any serious level how can it not be?

I don’t think it’s necessarily either, yes it sounds like a shit performance but Ipswich are a miles bigger club than us and will beat us 8 times out of 10 at Portman Road ceteris  paribus.

To be fair to Wellens, there is no accounting for a sloppy wayward pass by Close that effectively set up the first goal for them and also the lack of awareness of our defenders leaving their man totally unmarked at the back stick for their second.

What is not acceptable is the complete lack of invention and creativity at the other end.

I can accept trying to hold out for a 0-0 away at Man City in the FA Cup but not tonight.

The good thing is we have a chance to put things back on track at home to MK on Saturday and hopefully tonight will have just been a one off and perhaps the players have been affected by the travelling in such a short space of time between games?

I have my doubts but I’m going to give him more than 9 league games before I say he’s out of his depth. I still think we’ll stay up, maybe it’s just blind optimism.
