We desperately need a point or more from this game. Good to see the lucky pint is still going! I was part of the original gang who used to listen via Philskys or MarkB's streaming!
Good banter. I haven't been on here for ages.
Although I'm back now

COME ON ROVERS CCCCCHHHHHAAAARRRRGGGGEEE

Halden Gut is where its at.  Its the Winterthur (my new home town's) local brew.  It tastes like piss too  but its my piss so I love it.

Your right philsky, good banter. Me, you, your old man, MarkB, robtherover . Good times, always made listening to the game the next best thing.

I fear the worst this season though, no Billy, no goals.
Already we have mid table mediocrity to hope for. Who'd be a Rovers fan eh?
Come on Rovers for god sake !!

Funnily enough, me and Peebles were talking about trying to sort out a chat room again, maybe on Skype if we can figure out how to stream audio....

I think Rovers will come good.  We're not being outplayed to be honest and it's going to take time to bed in the new lads to the system. Add to that players coming back over time from injury.

Normal SO'D service has been resumed, which means we will be 6th at Xmas.

Keep the faith folks.

Three gone by the odd goal, it will be disappointing until we get a real striker in.

I know I'm stating the obvious but the need for a loan striker couldn't be more apparent.
Let's hope the Club can sort something before we get too far behind points wise.

Sounds like the difference today with the teams was the goal keeper - Time for Sully to come back in?

We've all got it.  I feel I am talking with the hind-sight managers on ja606.  Would anyone here, with Rover's finanaces built insurance in the squad for losing two strikers on the opening day?

SOD will be looking for said striker.  Problem is, he won't come cheap if he's any good.  Lets just hope Hayts isn't too far away.  His prognosis was the most positive.

Trouble is Hayts will not get the goals that Billy would - he is not an out and out goal scorer at this level.

Very True - But Browny needs help.  Hayter and Browny up front could be interesting

Do you really think SOD would play 2 up front?

But do you honestly think that SOD would play 2 up front if he had 2 fit strikers - losing tonight he did not push anyone up front to help Browny out.

With Hayts he keeps the option of being vague.  Browny and Hayts in the same team would be interesting.  As would Browny and Sharp (more unlikely to happen)
